Barb Weber's Mind Games Continued After 'The Bachelor' And I'm Concerned For Peter's Mental Health
I can only hope that he finds a way to move out from under his mother's extremely burdening shadow long enough to follow his own heart.
An article surfaced Friday afternoon that said Barb Weber was "lashing out" at people around her and that Peter and she have a "strained" relationship. After the news circulated, Peter took to his Instagram story to set the record straight.

In the video, he reads the headline of the article and asked Barb what she thought to which she responded, "I love you."
While Peter is definitely making fun of the article and trying to prove that he is very much so on good terms with his mother, it makes you wonder if they patched up their relationship at all or if he continued to be manipulated by his mother.
We all saw on TV just how manipulating Barb can be, especially emotionally. From crying and pleading that he chooses to propose to Hannah Ann to weeping tears of joy when he did even when she should have known she wasn't the one for her son. This woman was openly mean to a young 20-something-year-old (Madison) on live TV knowing that her words were going to hurt her son's reputation around the country.
Peter should have chosen to cut the cord with his mother and stand up for what he wants because nobody knows that except for him and Barb continually abused that.
While we are all aware that sometimes television, ESPECIALLY "The Bachelor," can be overproduced in a way to make things look worse than they are.
I'm convinced that Barb didn't need any direction, she just breathes and it's reality TV worthy.
Peter made a lot of mistakes on this show, and it's clear that Barb had a lot to do with the way that he acted because of the way he was most likely raised, but he deserves happiness just as much as the next person.
I can only hope that he finds a way to move out from under his mother's extremely burdening shadow long enough to follow his own heart.
