Everyone in a sorority has been there. You want the perfect Little, so you can call yourself their Big. Unfortunately, it's not all that simple. You can think of it as kind of like dating. You like them, but do they like you back? You wrote them on your list, but you sit and wonder if they put you on theirs. It's an emotional process that can be summed up in these five stages brought to you by "The Office."


1. The first sister in your pledge class received her email.

Everyone is your pledge class is religiously checking and refreshing her email and checking the GroupMe for Little announcements. Here's a tip: stay calm, your little is coming.


2. You're reflecting on your choices and the new members who you put down. Will they be your future Little? Did they like you?

You're starting to wonder if you're getting a Little at all.


3. Girls are getting the girls who you did not have room for on your list.

There's still hope that your perfect Little will be in in your future!


4. Now it's your turn. You just received your email.

Do you open it? You're too nervous to look, but you're also excited! Open it because it's happening! You're a Big!


5. You got your perfect Little addition to your family.

Congratulations! Let those emotions run wild!
