You can never run out of cute date ideas for you and your partner during the holidays! In my opinion, November to January are the most beautiful, fun, and coziest times of the year. The date options are endless, especially if you are a Christmas lover like me! Here are just 10 date ideas that you can do with your significant other.

1. Go to New York City and do literally anything

For me, the city is the most amazing place and during Christmas it becomes even more amazing! The beautiful lights that are everywhere you look, the Christmas tree in Rockefeller center, Christmas shopping, etc. No matter what you do, you will have the best time.

2. Go ice skating in New York City

Ice skating is definitely a top date idea! No matter where you go, it will be so fun. However, ice skating in NYC at Rockefeller center or Bryant Park would give you the most beautiful views.

3. Decorate each other's houses

Decorating the Christmas tree and my house is one of my favorite things to do this time of year! Even play some Christmas music while doing so and you will have so much fun!

4. Watch Christmas movies

This is hands down my #1 favorite thing to do during the holidays. Setting up a comfortable spot on the couch with cozy blankets, making hot chocolate and popcorn, eating candy and Christmas cookies, and watching the best classic holiday movies! What could be better?

5. Go holiday shopping

The holidays are a crazy time where everyone runs around all month to buy gifts for family and loved ones. Why do that alone?! Grab your partner and hit the stores together and I guarantee you it will make shopping and spending all of your money (a little) less painful!

6. Bake cookies

Nothing beats holiday cookies, especially making them at home! Get your supplies, blast some music in the kitchen, and have the best night ever making some delicious holiday themed cookies.

7. Drive around to look at the lights around your neighborhood

Christmas time is so amazing because it seems like everyone gets into the holiday spirit. Go for a nice and relaxing drive and admire all of the beautiful lights on houses or around the town

8. Have a romantic dinner date

Whether you go in town, the city, or at one of your houses, a romantic dinner by a fire and some of your favorite food will ensure an amazing night. Afterwards, eat some dessert and watch a Christmas movie to make it even more amazing!

9. See a Broadway play

Broadway plays are always a great date idea! Go see a Christmas or holiday themed play in the city and lift your holiday spirits!

10. Go for a walk in the snow

Once it starts snowing, everywhere you go is 10 times more beautiful. Dress in comfy layers and go for a nice walk to admire the snowy outdoors. This is even a chance to get amazing pictures of the two of you!

These date ideas are just a few of many, many things you can do during the holidays! Also, if you don't have a significant other during the holidays, don't feel down and feel like you can't do any of these things! Grab your best friend or even a family member and you will have just as much fun. This time is about family, friends, your pets and just everything in your life that represents love, not just a significant other.

The holidays are really the most wonderful time of the year, so make the most of it!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
