Bruno Alexander and his incredible POP Gym Leaders project featuring celebrities as Pokémon Gym Leaders were first introduced back in April by MTV News. Since then, Alexander has debuted two additional celebrity Gym Leaders and a whole bunch of commissioned works. And while his art is impressive, it has also raised some questions. Most importantly, what kinds of Pokémon would these celebrities have?

In an attempt to answer this question and simultaneously do Alexander's artwork some justice, I have compiled a list of what I think would be these music artists' Pokémon teams.

Rihanna - Fire

From red gowns to red hair, Rihanna dazzles in fiery red. Not to mention, how can we forget her performance from the "Love The Way You Lie" music video? Rihanna's strong-willed attitude and commendable talent have rightfully earned her a spot as a Fire-type Gym Leader. If a trainer can make it through her Navy, they can challenge her for the ANTi Badge. Don't get it twisted.

Britney Spears - Poison

With an outfit inspired by both her "Toxic" music video and iconic 2001 MTV Video Music Awards "I'm A Slave 4 U" performance, Britney Spears lands her title as the Poison-type Gym Leader. Spears has mastered the use of TM06 and can even dance with her Poison-type Pokémon. Trainers will need to be fully stocked with antidotes in order to obtain the Venom Badge from her. Are you prepared for a taste of a poison paradise?

Beyoncé - Fighting

Out with male-driven narratives, and in with the queen. Beyoncé is ready to fight misogynoir and for her title as Fighting-type Gym Leader. Remember that metallic glove from the "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" music video? It has a Key Stone in it now. Make it through the Bey Hive and challenge her for the Alliance Badge. Who runs the world?

Sia - Ghost

Sia has always been mysterious, which is why she is perfect for the Ghost-type Gym Leader. Her artistically chaotic gym will be full of wig-wearing trainers swinging from chandeliers and dancing. Earning the Wig Badge from Sia won't be a cheap thrill.

Adele has always taught us that being normal can be extraordinary. Or, that love can be extraordinarily painful. Either way, she is done crying and is going to make you cry trying to earn her Crying Badge. "Rumour Has It" that Adele it a tough opponent.

Lady Gaga - Ice

Lady Gaga wants your ugly, your disease, and everything as long as it's free. It won't be a simple feat to get to her though, let alone defeat her. Gaga's Ice-type gym will be full of whimsy, terror, and Little Monsters ready to defend her honor and praise her beauty. She will be waiting alone in a stark white room inside of a frozen egg-like structure, similar to her entrance and performance at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in 2011.

• Cryogonal I don't think anyone truly gets this Pokémon, which is why I think it is perfect for Gaga.
• CloysterGaga works it in sea shells, so there's no doubt that Cloyster will work it for her.

Ariana Grande - Dark

Long gone are Nickelodeon's days of naive and clueless Cat Valentine. Ariana Grande takes control of her own life by rebranding herself as an intelligible and hardworking woman that some might just find to be dangerous. She's ready to take risks and battle challengers of her Dark-type gym. The Danger Badge awaits challengers that can manage to defeat her. She's got one less problem without you.
