On Saturday, February 13th, Pat McAfee's "I-69 Tour" landed in Bloomington, Indiana. McAfee is the punter for the Indianapolis Colts NFL team. McAfee was asked by Live Nation to do a stand up comedy tour in Indiana and he thought it would be a great experience.

McAfee was introduced to the thousands of fans in IU Auditorium by our own Hoosier kicker, Griffin Oakes. McAfee complimented our team and reminded us that as a community, we have so many things to be proud of.

McAfee created a tour visiting four cities in Indiana starting with Evansville and moving to Wabash, Muncie and finishing the tour in Bloomington. During his performance he said that he was asked if he knew where he would like to make the final stop and he said, "Is that even a question? BLOOMINGTON."

McAfee's standup included many jokes and stories from his experience in the NFL, on being Peyton Manning's teammate, kicking off the Super Bowl and he also included childhood stories from his days of playing soccer in Europe. Yep, he used to kick soccer balls down the field before becoming Indiana's beloved pigskin punter. He mentioned his infamous canal dip in Indianapolis and the time he happened to post a picture of naked Colts quarterback, Andrew Luck. McAfee has since apologized to Luck numerous times, but doesn't believe he's been forgiven.

The audience came decked out in McAfee attire, proudly wearing his jersey and cheering giddily anytime he mentioned how excited he was to be visiting Indiana University. Audience members were also proud to point out that during his show he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying a local bottle of Oliver white wine.

To send everyone off, McAfee thanked the audience for spending their hard-earned money to come listen to him tell his crazy life stories and for staying in touch vehemently through social media. He enjoys seeing our sassy, smart aleck comments when he spells a word wrong and ends up having 7,000 notifications.
