It was the best of times; it was the worst of times.

10 Signs You Grew Up Without Sisters

Girls who grew up with all brothers are a special breed. And don't worry we aren't hard to find either because we're probably going to tell you 15 times that we grew up with only brothers. So here's to all the girls without the sister they never wanted.

1. You have never been able to take a normal family picture.

You realize if you just smiled the first time we wouldn't have to take the picture 15 times, right?

2. Growing up, all your brotherless friends asked you to explain boys to them.

"Okay take notes, guys care about one thing and one thing only- food."

3. You don't even roll your eyes when the wrestling starts again.

You've just accepted it at this point that they'll be wrestling their way through the nursing home.

4. You never had to share clothes growing up.

No fighting over clothes made your childhood so much easier.

5. When you're mom calls you for dinner you run to get there before it's all eaten.

Early bird gets the worm, am I right?

6. But you have a lifetime supply of hand-me-downs of oversized boys clothes.

There's no better feeling than a sweatshirt that is just way too big.

7. Your mom is your best friend.

You and your mom have become insanely close for your own sanity of being stuck in an all male house.

8. You always got the dreaded middle seat on family road trips.

Because if the boys sit next to each other they'll fight. Ugh.

9. You always knew when a sporting event was on because no one screams that loud at "The Bachelor".

And you can forget about sleep, if they go into overtime.

10. You wouldn't want it any other way.

While growing up with all boys had it's highs and lows, you wouldn't trade a day of shenanigans for all the sisters in the world.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
