Planned Parenthood's Dark History And Why Our Tax Dollars Should Not Fund It

Genocide No Matter What
Colorado Right to Life

"A society will be judged on the basis of how it treats its weakest members and among the most vulnerable are surely the unborn and the dying” (Vatican). If the words of Pope John Paul II are truly the test of a great nation, then the United States of America has failed miserably. Since 1970, the United States government has funded a multi-million corporation whose roots trace back to a renowned eugenics fanatic, Margaret Sanger, a rabid racist. That organization? Planned Parenthood, an organization that received over $1 billion in tax dollars in two years, an organization whose foundation is deeply rooted in the extreme racism of the American Eugenics Society. Sanger’s organization proclaims that they offer “Care. No matter what”, however, they have pulled wool over the eyes of the American people for far too long. It’s time that the American people know the truth about Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood, whose slogan should read instead “Genocide. No matter what.”

Margaret Sanger has been called many things, pioneer of women’s rights being the most common accolade she is showered with years after her death. However, to those who know the truth, racist, murderer, and evil are the words that come to mind. What many are unaware of is her extreme racism. Sanger was part of the American Eugenics Society, an organization that strived to exterminate those who were not “perfect”. Those who were mentally impaired, physically disabled, or were people of color. These individuals were viewed as sub-human by the American Eugenics Society. Striving to create a perfect race of thoroughbreds, as Sanger described her mission in Birth Control Review’s November 1921 issue, Sanger and the American Eugenics Society went to far extremes to insure that those who were not wanted, would not procreate (Sanger Review page 2).

Sanger was extremely racist, calling poor people, people of color, and immigrants "...human weeds, reckless breeders, spawning... human beings who never should have been born" (Sanger Pivot). Sanger founded Planned Parenthood in 1916, she opened the first “clinic” in New York City. Sanger stated in her biography that her entire purpose in life was to promote birth control (Sanger Biography 194). Her motives may have seemed pure to the public, but to those who dug deeper, a new kind of horror was discovered. According to blackgenocide.org, a website that brings to light to ulterior motives of Margaret Sanger and her Eugenicist cohorts with Planned Parenthood, Sanger closely followed the philosophy of eugenicist Thomas Malthus, whose philosophy was called Malthusian Eugenics. Malthusian Eugenicists believed strongly in racial purity and supremacy, specifically the supremacy of the Aryan race. These Malthusian eugenicists made it their mission to “purify” bloodlines and race as a whole and only allow those that they deemed fit have children and those they deemed unfit were forced to be sterilized. In the early 1930’s, a law was passed in Oklahoma stating that those who were convicted of crimes that were not white collar crimes were to be sterilized. The law did not withstand, however, the Supreme Court decided in the case Skinner v. Oklahoma that the compulsory sterilization of prisoners was unconstitutional. At this time in American history, the American Eugenics Society was spreading their propaganda throughout the MidWest, placing pavilions at county and state fairs where parents could bring their families to the booth where they would be examined by eugenicists to determine if they were helpful or hurtful to society, those who were deemed the most fit were awarded medals and paraded around the fairgrounds (Nourse 58). Sanger and her cohorts seemed to be winning this battle over eugenics and their morals.

Forced sterilizations, racial cleansing, Aryan supremacy, measures taken to purify bloodlines. Do those philosophies sound familiar? These philosophies held by Margaret Sanger and the American Eugenics Society were the framework for one of the largest genocides in world history, The Holocaust. Applauded American Eugenicist, Leon F. Whitney, praised Adolf Hitler’s plan to sterilize 1% of Germany’s population, which at that time was about 400,000 people (Kuhn 53). Whitney continued his praise of Hitler by saying that he saw Hitler’s extreme measures as a conversation starter “among thousands of persons [in the United States] who may never before taken any real interest in the subject [eugenics].” (page 53). After Hitler and the National Socialist Party rose to power in Germany, many American Eugenicists made the trip to Germany. Stefan Kuhn says in his book The Nazi Connection that “Nazi race and health administrators offered American Eugenicists, anthropologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and geneticists who visited Germany the proof they were seeking to convince themselves of the scientific and political merits of Nazi racial policies,” (page 54). These dangerous beliefs were threatening to make their way to the United States during this time in history, and Margaret Sanger was a frontrunner in promoting the evil philosophies of racial supremacy and racial purification.

Flash forward to modern-day Planned Parenthood and not much has changed other than the legalization of abortion in 1973, now making it legal to kill children in the womb. Margaret Sanger’s organization was now the leading abortion provider in the United States, killing nearly millions of pre-born children a year. As of last year, the latest available year for statistics from the Guttmacher Institute, nearly 57 million children had been aborted, one third of those deaths came at the hands of Planned Parenthood (Rose Planned Parenthood Project). Now, clinics are given quotas on the number of abortions they are to perform on a monthly basis and other “choices” like adoption are rare (Johnson). Abby Johnson was a former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas. After witnessing an ultrasound guided abortion, Johnson quit her job and because staunchly pro-life. In her blog article titled “How to Get Hired at Planned Parenthood…For Real”, as a response to an article in Cosmopolitan, Johnson details the unprofessional and dangerous manner in which Planned Parenthood operates. Johnson begins by saying:

First, you should know that Planned Parenthood is the largest provider of abortions in our country, which means they deliberately take the lives of more people than any other entity. They say that it takes a certain amount of “passion” to work inside their organization, but really it just takes willful ignorance to pretend that you are helping women by killing their children (Johnson).

She then continues on to reveal the truth about the requirements that are needed to work at Planned Parenthood. In response to the question “ Do most full-time positions require a specific degree?” Johnson says:

Of course not. This is Planned Parenthood, not a medical clinic. Oh wait…it is a medical clinic. Well, they won’t worry about that. Licenses, certifications and degrees just get in the way, and those kinds of people require more money, and that is really inconvenient for their bottom line. No no. No degree needed to work at a Planned Parenthood facility. If you want to perform ultrasounds on a woman, no problem! You don’t even have to have a high school diploma to do that! They will just give you some on the job training (that lasts about an hour) and set you loose to perform transvaginal ultrasounds on women who come in. Want to draw blood? No certificate needed! You can just practice on your co-workers until you feel like you are “good enough” at sticking people. Want to take on that highly regarded position of POC technician? Well, you will have to earn that. Not just anyone can piece baby parts back together. But don’t worry, if you want to work in the recovery room and listen to women sob after their abortion is complete, you certainly don’t need any sort of education. Just keep your fingers crossed that no one starts to hemorrhage or has a serious medical complication since you aren’t trained in providing medical care. I’m sure they will eventually hear you screaming for a doctor once they turn the suction machine off. Whatever you do, just remember that you don’t call 911 at Planned Parenthood. That is really bad press with all of those anti-choice protestors outside. The abortion industry can’t have people thinking that abortion may actually be dangerous for women (Johnson).

How professional and safe does that sound? The real eye opener, however, is Johnson’s response to the question “What qualities do you look for in candidates?” Johnson says the following:

Planned Parenthood is looking for vulnerable people, primarily women, to work for them. They really love single moms because they are just desperate to put food on the table and will do pretty much anything to take care of their children, even if it means compromising their own values. They are looking for people to stay long term with their organization, because let’s be honest, these former Planned Parenthood employees are always so willing to spill the beans on all of their corrupt practices, and that is really annoying for them. They just want timid people who will keep their mouths shut about the dirty things they see there. Timidity is important because if you do ever leave them, they will send a really threatening letter to your home that states they will take you to court if you ever talk about what you have seen since working with their organization. They need that letter to scare you into silence (Johnson).

Does this organization sound like it’s goal is helping women? No, it isn’t, it’s all about exploiting vulnerable women at Planned Parenthood and why should they want to stop when they’re having millions of dollars handed to them by the federal government? Keep in mind that Planned Parenthood also has private donors as well, $1.2 billion they received from 2010-12 is only the tax money they received and doesn’t count the profit and private donations they received (Rose Planned Parenthood Project).

Johnson not only has first hand experience as a clinic director, but as a victim of numerous lawsuits brought forth by Planned Parenthood after she began “spilling the beans” about their dirty secrets. The lawsuits, however, meant nothing, they were only to cover the behinds of the corporation so they could continue to receive billions in government funding. Johnson also reveals that, after the numbers are broken down, the ratio of abortions provided to adoption referrals given is a shocking 174:1, meaning that for every one adoption referral pamphlet given, 174 lives are snuffed out (Johnson). She isn’t making these numbers up either, the Guttmacher Institute collects numbers on abortions and proudly publishes them each year. But Planned Parenthood provides healthcare for poor women who are in need, some argue. This is far from the truth. Johnson reveals in her blog that Planned Parenthood could not help you if you had low blood pressure, they couldn’t help you if you were in need of actual medical care (Johnson), instead they make their money at the cost of almost one thousand lives per day and they are making money from our tax dollars to do so. In New York City, Margaret Sanger’s philosophy of a racial purification lives on, more African-American children are aborted than born on a daily basis (Rose Planned Parenthood Project). Think this is purely a coincidence? Think again. Planned Parenthood clinics are strategically placed in low-income and impoverished neighborhood where mothers are desperate and often times uneducated in their choices. These women rely on Planned Parenthood to help them not harm them, yet they are told that their only option is abortion, how quick and easy the procedure is.However, what they get after the procedure is a dead child and often times a lifetime full of regret, depression, and long term medical effects. In an undercover investigation, LiveAction.org, founded by Lila Rose, revealed that Planned Parenthood willingly takes donations from those who wish to have African American or any minority children aborted. All they have to do is send in their check and tell Planned Parenthood that they want it to pay for an abortion of a minority child, simple as that (Rose Planned Parenthood Project). The worst part is, they actually get this offer.

Not only does Planned Parenthood promote founder Margaret Sanger’s radical proposal of racial purification, they have helped cover up instances of rape and sex trafficking. In another undercover sting LiveAction sent a man and a girl undercover as a pimp and a prostitute, they explain to the clinic worker that they are in fact, sex workers and they are curious to know how to obtain abortions for girls as young as fourteen. The clinic worker gives them paperwork and tells them there are ways around that pesky parental consent law that those darn anti-choicers have pushed onto women and tells him to call an anonymous hotline to set up an appointment and zero questions will be asked (Rose Planned Parenthood Project). In Colorado, a young girl, “RZ”, was sexually abused since she was six years old by her stepfather. In 2012, when she was thirteen, her she became pregnant, so her stepfather took her to Planned Parenthood in Colorado for a secret abortion. Now, keep in mind that Planned Parenthood is required by law to report suspected sexual and physical abuse of a minor, yet RZ’s stepfather paid them enough to kill her child and send her back into a sexually and physically abusive situation that she would not escape for three years. Now, she is a sixteen year old girl who has scars and a past that no sixteen year old , or woman of any age deserve to endure (Rose I Paid for These Abuses).

Time and time again, Planned Parenthood has hid its dirty little secrets from the American public, who is providing them with billions in tax dollars. An organization such as this, an organization whose roots are buried deep in anti-Semitism and evil should not be given a cent of our tax dollars. How would the majority of Americans feel if they knew the history of Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood? How would voters feel if they knew their tax money was funding an organization whose founder shared ideas and philosophies with Adolf Hitler?. Sanger’s Planned Parenthood does not desire to offer “Care. No matter what.”, what they strive for is a profit and the racial purification of America: Genocide. no matter what.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
