Football season is in full swing and you know what that means: the true football fans will stand out from the fake football fans. There's plenty of us college students who actually don't know a thing about football and just hop on the bandwagon because, let's be honest, what else would we do on Saturdays from September to November? If you're not a football fan, but you go to a school that is OBSESSED with football, you will definitely be able to resonate with these feelings:
1. The excitement of buying a new game day outfit.
Not knowing any of the rules to football won't stop you from posting a picture in the latest game day trends.
2. The anxiety you get when your parents ask you if you made it into the game.
"Yeah, I can actually see the field better from my bed..."
3. The confusion you get when something happens during the game.
You've given up on trying to figure out what the rules are. Instead, you just cheer when the rest of the crowd cheers and boo when the rest of the crowd boos.
4. The eagerness to attend family tailgates.
The tailgating lots are probably the closest to the stadium you've been in years.
5. The enthusiasm to celebrate the win you didn't even watch.
You may not have seen the actual win itself, but you'll be the first one at the after-party! That counts for something, right?
