The Missouri Civil War.

Okay, maybe it's not that drastic, but to college students, the Mizzou-Missouri State game might as well be. Mizzou and Missouri State haven't played each other in college football since 1923, but the rivalry of whose state it is has shook Missouri since the beginning of time.

Having been 94 years since the two Missouri college teams stepped foot on the same field, there's no surprise that the beef came out to play on Twitter leading up to the game on Saturday. So, in honor of this giant reunion, here are some of the best Mizzou-hating tweets for all the Bears out there.

Anyone from the state of Missouri knows how true this is. Odds are, your entire graduating class went to either.

I mean..........we won't talk about it. *sips tea*

Honestly though. This game is the moment all students have been waiting for, to finally let our hate flag fly. Don't take that away from us, North Korea.

"Mo State = Poor Person Mizzou"......every Bear is thinking what she had to say in response. We're graduating with way less student loan debt, so we aren't too shook, Mizzou.

Missouri State Bears aren't going to act like we're the Alabama Crimson Tide, alright? Because......yeah. You know. The tailgates are where Bears thrive, consequently, but we don't even mind.

Nothing like good old fashioned meme resurgence to demonstrate our love for the Bears.

Is Missouri State known for dominating football? No. But is Mizzou? Also no. No matter how the game goes, and it could debatably go either way if we're being COMPLETELY honest, it's a good time for the state of Missouri. Both schools exercise their loathing of each other and get to play some good old fashioned college football, kicking off both teams' seasons.

Go Bears.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
