The NFL regular season has come to a close, and now the real football begins. Despite the Patriots' hot 10-0 start, fans and haters alike can agree that New England's last 6 games have been all but promising. It is apparent that injuries have plagued the AFC leader, but with two weeks off before their first playoff game, fans can only hope that Edelman, Vollmer, Jones and Hightower, among others, are ready to go. For Patriots fans looking to ease any anxiety, remember, Tom Terrific is still in the red, white and blue and running the team. Here are 11 things for the Brady lovers to love, and the haters to hate.
1. Brady Found An NFL Team, Even With This 40-Yard Dash Performance
Tom ran a 5.28 40-yard dash...To give you some perspective, QB Payton Manning ran a 4.8, and Patriots rookie Malcolm Brown, who is 6'2" and 319 pounds ran his in 5.05. Clearly speed isn't everything for a QB in the NFL.
2. "I'm The Best Decision This Organization Has Ever Made"
For someone who went 199th overall in the sixth round of the NFL draft, Tom Brady sure did have confidence. With a pizza box between his lanky arm and thin body, Tom decided to say hello to the Owner of his new team: Robert Kraft. Instead of a typical conservative first interaction, Tom told Robert Kraft to his face that he, the kid that was overlooked 198 times and ran a 5.28 40-yard dash, was "the best decision this organization has ever made". Well played, Tom, well played.
3. The Brady Transformation
4. Apparently He's As Good At Drinking Beer As He Is At Playing Quarterback
5. He Is A Team Player In The Truest Sense
6. He Took Deflategate To Court...And Won
7. 4x Super Bowl Champion, 3x Super Bowl MVP, 2x NFL MVP, 11x Pro Bowl...

8. He's Married To Gisele Bundchen

9. He Is Loved By Donald Trump

10. With This Diet, He May Actually Play Forever

"No white sugar. No white flour. No MSG. I’ll use raw olive oil, but I never cook with olive oil. I only cook with coconut oil. Fats like canola oil turn into trans fats. ... I use Himalayan pink salt as the sodium. I never use iodized salt. Tom doesn’t eat nightshades, because they’re not anti-inflammatory. So no tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, or eggplants. Tomatoes trickle in every now and then, but just maybe once a month. I’m very cautious about tomatoes. They cause inflammation. No coffee. No caffeine. No fungus. No dairy. The kids eat fruit. Tom, not so much. He will eat bananas in a smoothie. But otherwise, he prefers not to eat fruits."
11. Finally, Bring Back The Hair
Yeah, call him a pretty boy, but at the end of the day, he wins Super Bowl championships and gets to go home to his wife Gisele. This is the look of a champion. Bring it back, Brady.
As one of the greatest quarterback of all-time, Brady comes under fire a lot for many more things than the aforementioned, but as Bill Belichick puts it, "There’s no quarterback I’d rather have than Tom Brady. He’s the best. He does so much for us in so many ways on so many different levels. I’m really fortunate that he's our quarterback and for what he's able to do for this team. It’s good to win with him and all the rest of our players.”
Right on, Bill.
