Almost everyone that calls themselves a football fan knows of the starting NFL quarterback, Cameron Newton, of the Carolina Panthers. Cam is a one of a kind player that tons of people admire. Love him or hate him, you can't deny that Newton has the potential to be one of the best players to ever go through the sport. Here are the 11 reasons why everyone loves Cam Newton.

1. Every time Cam Newton scores he gives a game ball to a kid.

This is becoming a new tradition for the Carolina Panthers that kids, parents and fans alike love. It doesn't stop there, after practices Cameron has been known to give away his cleats, fan gear and tons of other things to anybody and everybody. He is a people person and lives to please his loyal fans, the less fortunate, basically anyone he can help impact.

2. He doesn't make excuses

Cam has never been one to make excuses. Win or lose he always owns up to the outcomes of anything that happens in his life. "I. Hate. Excuses. Excuses are a disease ."

3. His style.

The guy has a swagger that not a lot of people can match. The dude can dress well! He will always be himself and never be afraid to express himself through his attire.

4. His dancing.

Cam loves to dance on the sideline, on the field, in the locker room, in public, anywhere! He's pretty good at it too.

5. His energy is contagious.

Have you ever heard of the dab? Cam Newton made this little dance sensation very popular. It didn't happen overnight, Cam has the energy that people want to mimic and be around. It is a part of his golden character. He knows how to make football look fun again.

6. A family man.

He quietly has been dating the same girl for a long time and they had a healthy baby boy on Christmas Eve night by the name of Chosen. He loves his mother, and he has done a lot for not only just his own family, but the Auburn University family as well.

7. Godly Man.

Newton's mother and father run a church by the name of "Holy Zion" church. The Newton's have always been true to where they come from (Southwest Atlanta) and their religion. Cameron admits to being human and knows that everyone needs second chances as well, "I'm an example of why people deserve second chances." He is not afraid to speak for the principles he stands by, his Christianity and faith.

8. He went back to Auburn after he left for the NFL to get his degree.

He promised his mother that, and he held true to his word. He knew that an education was one of the most valuable things you can have.

9. His ability to make amazing plays on the football field.

My goodness, have you ever seen him play a game? I have been watching him for years, and have yet to have a game where I was asking myself... "How did he do that?"

10. He has a great smile.

His perfect smile lights up television screens across America. How can you not love a guy that smiles almost more than he breathes?!

11. He is a freak athlete.

Cameron Newton is arguably the face of the National Football League. He has revolutionized a position that has constantly been the same in the NFL for decades. His capabilities are unmatchable. His size, speed, strength and smarts are ridiculously unnatural. Whether you like it or not, he is not going away anytime soon.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
