Finals are very quickly approaching, meaning that everyone will soon be pulling their hair out and crying hysterically due to stress. The endless nights dedicated to that one class that you have consistently made C's in or the many days where you refuse to get out of bed because that would mean having to actually crack the book open. No matter what your situation is, there are certain things that will surely get you through Hell Week.

1. Coffee

Starbucks. Starbucks. Starbucks. The key ingredient in making it through finals is drinking coffee. Yes, eventually you will crash, but you know the amount of studying that you get done while chugging a latte will pay off.

2. Tissues

You will need tissues. When you find out that three of your finals are all on the same day, you will need to cry. You will have to blow your nose, and if you have some tissues remaining, you can use them to wipe your tears when it is all over.

3. The most comfortable clothing you can find

For many, the most comfortable article of clothing you own is your trusty pair of sweatpants. Yoga pants, t-shirts, and hoodies are all acceptable. Do not feel convicted wearing your sweatpants and t-shirt every day for a week because nearly everyone around is in the same attire.

4. Planner

You must plan! Strategically plan when all of your finals are so you can incorporate times when you can eat and sleep. Many of us get so caught up in studying that we neglect our basic needs. Do not be afraid to pencil in "Dinner."

5. Snacks

Eating healthy is very important during finals week because you need to keep your energy up, and since you most likely will not have time to hit the gym at your usual time, you need to stay healthy. Rather than keeping a bag of chips by your tissues and coffee, get some apples or veggie chips to munch on.

6. Notecards

I would very strongly recommend notecards when studying for finals. You get the repetition of the information by rewriting the material on notecards, and if you buy the colored notecards, you get the added benefit of color coding. It also gives you a fun way to study with your study buddy.

7. Study buddy

Sometimes you just need a little motivation, and a study buddy is the perfect way to receive it. The best way to retain the information that you are studying is by quizzing yourself, but for many that is difficult when by yourself. So get a study buddy and you will be golden.

8. Music

Anxiety always runs high during finals week, find yourself some relaxing music to help focus. Make sure that it helps you more than it distracts you.

9. Find the perfect location for you

If you need absolute silence, go to the library in order to study to the best of your abilities. If you need a more vivacious atmosphere, go to Starbucks and study. For some people, their dorm room is what works the best for them. No matter what your happy place is, find it. It will benefit you in the long run.

10. Faith

Have a little faith during finals week. Everything will work out in the end as long as you stay focused and believe that everything will be fine no matter what. Say some prayers, read some bible verses, and remember that you got this. Finals will not know what hit them when you walk into the room.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
