When you think of "mixed breeds," you probably think of dogs, which is fairly normal since there are countless dog breeds in today's society. But "mixed breed" doesn't necessarily imply a dog breed. There are also many "mixed breed" animals that are the offspring of typical zoo animals. Here are 10 interesting mixed breed animals.

Liger - Male Lion, Female Tiger

Tigon - Male Tiger, Female Lion

Zonkey - Zebra, Donkey

Geep - Goat, Sheep


Leopon - Lion, Leopard


Savannah Cat- Seval, Domestic Cat


Cama - Camel, Llama

Yakow - Yak, Cow

Jaglion - Lion, Black Jaguar

Coydogs or Dogote - Coyote, Domestic Dog

I did not make these up as strange as they may seem. It is evident that some animals mix better than others and in some cases mixing two unlikely candidates makes a cute or interesting offspring, and in other cases, not so much. Regardless, these are just a few combinations of animals that exist.
