"Hey, don't ever let somebody tell you ... You can't do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream ... You gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period." – Christopher Gardner
Have you ever had a dream? Something that you are so passionate about to point where every time you think about it you get the biggest smile on your face. Everyone has a dream, everyone's dream is unique because it represents the gifts each person was equipped with the day they were born. However anybody who has ever had a dream has had somebody tell them that their dreams are hopeless and will never happen. No matter how hard they try to bring you down, don't give into their criticisms and let them win. Instead take their criticisms as motivation to not only succeed, but to prove them wrong. Make all the people that told you your dreams were impossible feel silly for ever doubting your personal abilities. However, there are going to be times when you fail, but it doesn't mean your dreams are impossible. Some of the most successful people in the world have failed.
Everyone knows who Michael Jordan is. Jordan is said to be the greatest player in the history of the NBA. He had a dream to become a professional basketball player. Jordan tried out for his High School Varsity team when he was a Sophomore. The varsity coach claimed at his height of 5'11, he was too short to play varsity basketball, let alone the NBA. Michael Jordan made the Junior Varsity team and worked hard each day at practice. Jordan's hours of practice paid off, he was the lead scorer for nearly every JV game averaging 40 points a game. This lead to Jordan making the Varsity team the following year, earning a scholarship to UNC, and a starting position on the Chicago Bulls. All because he didn't quit and let criticism motivate him. Jordan holds six national titles, five MVP's and 10 scoring records.

There is no such thing as a dream that is too big. A dream can be as big as you want it to be. Dreams are attainable, but nobody said it was easy. Obtaining dreams takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Work hard at anything you are given or assigned. Do something each day that gets you closer to your dream. However, the most important thing you cannot do is give up. Even when things don't go exactly as planned. There are going to be times when you fail and feel lost. The best thing you can do is get back up on your feet and continue working hard.
