Through the 2015 season in baseball, there has been a plethora of rookies who have been outstanding through the first 70 plus games.
Kris Bryant - Bryant is likely the most known out of all the rookies because of how he was held out of the season opener and the attention he received for his first games as a professional. The hype is real on Bryant, through over 200 at bats, he is batting .273, with 10 home runs and 43 runs batted in. He ranks 3rd in homers and 1st in RBI's for rookies. At age 23, Bryant looks to be one of the centerpieces for a Chicago Cubs team who look to be stacked with young talent for the future.
Joc Pederson - This is a player who began the year batting ninth, and when a few injuries happened to the Los Angeles Dodgers at the beginning of the year, he eventually made his way to the lead off spot and has continued to strive in the position. Pederson is batting just .245, but he leads all rookies with 19 home runs, which puts him 7th in the league, and most on the Dodgers. For being a rookie, he has excellent patience at the plate, leading all rookies in walks, which makes him 4th in the entire league.
Steven Sousa Jr. - Sousa Jr. is a name a lot of people probably have not heard of, but it is a name you will hearing in the future. Sousa Jr. leads the Tampa Bay Rays in home runs, good enough for 2nd among all rookies and 10 stolen bases which puts him 3rd.
Billy Burns - Burns has been a vital part to a struggling Oakland A's team, and the most consistent batter in the clubhouse. Batting at a .322 clip, he ranks best among rookies and that would put him ninth in all of baseball. He is not much of a power hitter with just two home runs but he leads all rookies in stolen bases and hits.

Franco - Essentially, the only positive aspect so far this season for the Philadelphia Phillies right
now is Franco. The rookie was called up in mid-May and since has become the lead-off batter and he is batting .304. Since his arrival, he has 10 home
runs, the rest of the Phillies have 19 home runs combined. Franco ranks 5th
among rookies for home runs and runs batted in with 32.
Chris Heston - As a rookie, Heston is having a dream season. He threw a no-hitter on June 9 against the New York Mets at Citi Field. His no-no was the first no-hitter ever in which the pitcher hit three batters. To add to the no-hitter he is second on the team in wins with 8, and also has the second best ERA of the starting rotation at 3.73.
