The Rio 2016 Olympics is comes to an end tomorrow, August 21st at 2:45 pm eastern time. The US Men's Basketball Team defeated Spain with a final score being 82-76. It was not the closest game the US men have played this summer but it was one of the toughest. Both teams were not playing to the best of their ability because this was a low scoring game. Klay Thompson finished 22 points as the scoring leader for Team USA. Pau Gasol finished the game with 23 points with a calf injury heading into the game. Both teams committed a lot of fouls and the shooting performance wasn't that great. Team USA grabbed 21 on the offensive board, which helped create additional buckets. Spain trailed most of the game due to their shooting struggles but were able to cut the 10 point deficit in the first half by going on an eight-point run. The was close
but the US Men's National Team came out on top.

There are athletes who did their best and won their medals. Even to though who didn't win a medal this summer. It's a blessing participating in the Olympics. I never done it but it looks like a great experience either if you are participating or there watching it. It's a whole different atmosphere when it comes to the Olympics even being at home watching it. Congratulations to every one who made it to the Olympics this summer because it's one in a lifetime thing being different athletes in their prime at the Olympics. It's athletes who participated in their final Olympics and are retiring from their sport. So it's good to catch them while you can. So I encourage everyone to try to take trip to the next Olympics in four years or start watching it if you haven't started yet. Your country will need you support anyway to succeed against other countries, so why not? This was interesting summer, and I hope everyone who went out to the Olympics in Rio make it back home safe and get back to their normal life. Gold bless everyone and once again congratulations to my Rio participates.
