"[insert name here], will you accept this rose?" More than likely we have dreamed of hearing that question asked by the many bachelors and bachelorettes from the hit TV show of the same name. I know I have. Young men and women nationwide tune in each week to see if their favorites will make it through another rose ceremony and ultimately win the heart of a very good looking bachelor or bachelorette. I am a bit of a super fan of the show, and spend way too much time thinking about my favorite girls and guys each season. During the finale episodes you can find me with a huge bottle of red wine, a box of tissues and junk food, sobbing intensely.
The ABC recently began a new season of "The Bachelor." Ben Higgins stars as the lucky, very handsome bachelor. Girls (and maybe a few guys, too) are beyond thrilled at the show's choice of who the bachelor would be this season.
"When I found out it was going to be Ben...I literally screamed. He was such a gentleman, and comes from such a good background. I am so jealous I wasn't going to be on the show," said Candler Huddleston, a student at the University of Alabama.
The season premiere was nothing short of a whirlwind for Ben as he met 26 women that he would start dating that night. This is always everyone's favorite part of the show because of how the girls try to make their first impression on Ben a great one. We saw a woman bring a miniature horse in, a pair of twins emerged from the limo and even a few familiar faces from previous seasons showed up again for another shot at love.
So...how about we talk about each of the Top 14 girls a little bit and then I'll give you some predictions of who I see as being the top five front runners to be the new Mrs. Higgins.
Ben Higgins (of course we have to spotlight The Bachelor)
Ben is from Indiana and is a software salesman. He was first featured on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of "The Bachelorette." He is ready to meet the love of his life, but fears that he is ultimately unloveable.
1. Amanda
Amanda is a 25-year-old mother from California. She is a mom to two daughters, and considers them her greatest achievement to date. She is an aesthetician, and she is easily one of the sweetest girls in the house.
2. Amber
Amber is one of the familiar faces that comes back for another chance at love. She was first seen on Chris Soules' season of "The Bachelor." Not satisfied with how she was able to connect with him, she came back to see if Ben is really the guy for her. She is 30 years old, and is a bartender in Illinois.
3. Becca
Becca is the other familiar face that comes back for her second chance on the show. She is famous for her virginity, which she informed Chris Soules and America of during her time on his season of "The Bachelor." She was one of the top four girls, but was ultimately eliminated. She is 26 years old and works as a chiropractic assistant in San Diego, CA.
4. Caila
Caila is also a software sales representative, just like Ben! She is 24 years old and from Ohio. After exiting the limo she runs and jumps into Ben's arms and says "Thanks for catching me, I hope we can catch up more inside!" She gave a strong first impression with her good looks and her awesome personality!
5. and 6. Emily and Haley
A big "first" for the TV show is featuring this set of identical twins. Emily and Haley are 24, and live in Las Vegas. The girls are obviously stunning, and they immediately perplex Ben when they both exit the limo in the first episode. The only question I have is: How does he tell them apart?
7. Jennifer
Jennifer is a beautiful woman from Ft Lauderdale, Florida. She is a small business owner and when asked what her ideal mate is like she will reply with a big, loud, BEN HIGGINS! Jennifer and Ben seem to hit it off since first meeting.
8. JoJo
JoJo is a cute, sassy and sweet girl from Dallas, TX. She is 24 years old, and flips houses for a living. On her first night with Ben, she plays a little game of "Heads Up" to give Ben a better sense of who she is. It is no surprise when she gets a rose the first night after a good conversation with Ben.
9. Jubilee
Jubilee is easily one of the most memorable girls this season, no matter how far she makes it. If being absolutely stunning wasn't enough, she serves in the U.S. Army and has been deployed to the Middle East. She is 24 years old and also from Ft Lauderdale. She stunned Ben and America when she opened up about how she is the only surviving member of her family.
10. Lauren B
Lauren B is a flight attendant from Marina Del Rey, California. She brings Ben a pair of wings on the first night and tells him how excited she is to start their adventure together. We instantly see a connection form between her and Ben, and she is quick to admit that she has started to have feelings for him. Lauren loves a good mimosa and warm weather!
11. Lauren H
Lauren H is a kindergarten teacher from Ann Arbor, MI. She is right in her element on the first group date, where Ben took the girls back to high school to compete to be his homecoming queen. Lauren did not win that group date, but she has left her mark in Ben's mind as she continues to date him.
12. Leah
Leah is from Denver, CO. She is a 24-year-old event planner who literally wall twerked in her audition to be on "The Bachelor "(she thinks it was the most outrageous thing she has ever done!) Leah was an instant favorite to Ben because of how she exited the limo on night one. She walks out, bends over and hikes a football back to Ben saying "Higgy Higgy hut, hut!" Ben loves to throw the football and the two play catch for a little while.
13. Olivia
Olivia is one beautiful woman! She is a 23-year-old former TV news anchor, who actually left her job to pursue a relationship on "The Bachelor." "I felt like I was leaving something good...to find something great," is how she tells Ben she feels about leaving her career. She is the winner of the first impression rose, and she instantly becomes confident as she and Ben get more alone time and more dates. America knows her for her rather large mouth.
14. Rachel
Rachel is the last of the girls that still remain. She is 23 years old and lives in Little Rock, AR. She is currently unemployed. Rachel comes in the first night riding a hover board and impresses Ben (and me!) with her balance on while she is wearing an evening gown.
So...as if it was not going to be hard to date so many girls at once, Ben has to date all of these eligible and HOT women at the same time! How lucky are those girls and how lucky is Ben? Moving forward though, I can see who I believe to be the front runners in this batch of ladies. As a super fan I'll give you my predictions for the Top 5 girls, as well as another super fan's predictions!

This is looking to be like one of the best seasons yet as Ben looks for the woman who he wants to one day call his wife. Make sure you are tuning in every Monday night at 8/7c to see these relationships blossom...and maybe even crumble. We are all anxiously waiting to see who Ben gives the final rose, and who gets a huge rock!
