Top three reasons why to get a Fitbit.
All year long a bunch of my friends bought a fitbit and loved it! Everytime I would hang out with them they would talk about it in every conversation. They would beg me to buy one, but I kept coming up with an excuse as to why I couldn’t. For all of the excuses I used they could give me a reason why that excuse wasn’t valid. I finally caved and bought a fitbit about three weeks ago, and I absolutely LOVE it! I believe that everybody should get a fitbiit for these reasons:
- They track how many hours of sleep you get each night.
- They are really motivating.
- They help you become a healthier person.
I always said that I didn’t sleep enough and never felt refreshed the next day. Once I bought the fitbit I realized how much I actually slept. I was right, I was not sleeping enough. I was only sleeping around four hours each night which is not good. If you reach your goal then it gives you a green smiley face. The smiley faces were really motivating to get more sleep.
One of the most motivating features about the fitbit is that it tracks how many steps you take in a day. The default setting is 10,000 steps in one day. Everyday I make it a priotrity to reach my step goal. There are instances where at night I realize I need more steps so I will go and walk in order to reach the goal. It has been really motivating to me in the fact that I now exercise more on a daily basis.
Before I got my fitbit I didn’t make the healhiest choices. I would take the elevator instead of taking the stairs, ate unhealthy foods, and only slept four hours each night. Once I bought my fitbit, I started realizing that I wanted to make better decisions. I wanted to get the stars for reaching my goals. The fitbit can keep track of the foods I eat and I didn’t want to have to log the bad foods and be over in calories, so I started eating better. I have found in the past two weeks or so that I want to be a healthier person!
