Male players usually do not say that they are playing with women's feelings. Instead, they rationalize that they are playing with women's interests because they assume that all women are gold diggers. Any form of cheating or simply taking advantage of people can have undesirable consequences.
One consequence is the loss of trust.
Not only can one lose trust for their partner, but they can also lose trust for their partner's family or maybe even their own family for not sticking to the values of our current culture. This will leave a mark and may cause people to treat the cheater/player differently. Now, why is this important? Well, psychologically speaking, another consequence is cheaters and players affect people's mental health. Several effects on a person's mental health can include insecurity, stress, anger, depression, revenge, or even suicidal ideation.
The truth is, people can be psychologically affected by anything they perceive as a traumatic experience. The stronger the connection they had with a person, the more it hurts and the more difficult it is to let go. It is important to recognize that our environment and negative experiences can cause a chemical imbalance in the brain, which can also lead a person to feel or think a certain way.

The legacy a male player leaves behind is one of hatred, sadness, and distrust.

Therefore, cheaters and players have to recognize that what they are doing is not morally correct. If a person wants to get involved in a consented, polyamorous relationship, they can. It's way better than seeking to break other people's hearts. Although, personally, I prefer to be the only special person in someone's life. In conclusion, it is always best to define the relationship and build trust rather than do something that brings people pain.

And remember, do not exclude or hate on people indefinitely because that may also affect their mental health. Life is better when we all support each other, regardless of how many mistakes we made.
