1.You can actively participate in no shave November, don’t shave December, etc.

Let’s be real, you aren’t a bear so the hair won’t keep you warm, but it’s always fun to participate! Every female knows the joy when no shave November rolls around, and if you haven’t I suggest you try it. You can let your inner cavewoman out, and there will be no one to tell you it’s getting out of hand. With no boyfriend around to feel on your legs, you can make any month into no shaving. Unfortunately, if you want any chance with a guy, you’ll eventually have to start shaving. If you don’t it’ll be no bae November, real quick!

2.You can dance with hot guys in the club.

If he wants to dance with you, or pay your college tuition; let him! Totally kidding, but one dance won’t hurt, even if it’s to the cha cha slide. You deserve to feel admired by cute men, if they want to show you off on the dance floor. You’re a beautiful woman, he’d be crazy not to want to dance with you, so get on the dance floor and shake your tail feather!

3. You don't have to share your food.

Some people will say this is the best perk, because no one likes to share their food. Single means no more sharing your food, or drink with that special one. You can add whatever topping to your pizza, or drown your nachos in spicy cheese. Guess who’s going to be there to tell you no? N-O-B-O-D-Y. Enjoy your dinner, because there is no we in food!

4. You can spend time with your guy friend without getting interrogated.

Your guy friend is an important person in your life, and some boyfriends don't like that. You can go on adventures, late night food runs, and road trips with him without a problem. Being single means no jealousy, questions, or fights over your guy best friend. If a guy wants to be with you, he will accept your guy best friend too. Boyfriend's come and go, but best friends are there forever.

5. You can focus on your education, work, and extracurriculars.

Sometimes being in a relationship makes your education, work, or hobbies take a backseat. With being a single pringle, you can focus on accomplishing your personal goals. You could get that 3.0 GPA, get a job promotion, or get that summer body! Its okay to put yourself first sometimes, you deserve to be your #1 priority.

6.You can wear whatever you want.

You can feel free to wear whatever you want when single. Even if its a dress and heels, or some sweatpants with a baseball hat. There is no boyfriend to tell you that you are dressed up too much, and you don't have to wear makeup to impress him. With this perk, remember that you want to attract the right attention. What you wear says a lot about you.

7. You can go on as many dates as you want.

It's true, he may not be your soulmate, but how will you know if you don't try? You aren't going to find Mr.Right sitting on the couch, or on Facebook. Go out, and have fun getting to know someone else. One date doesn't mean you have to marry the guy! It could be a love connection, or it could just be dinner with a soon to be friend. Also, you never know who that person can introduce you to, or vice versa. Put yourself out there, you might come back with a future boyfriend, or a new love for Thai food!

8. You can buy yourself gifts.

Take the money that you will save on anniversary presents, and treat yourself! Who said you can't buy yourself little presents? You know exactly what you need, so its the perfect gift. It's nice getting presents from someone other than yourself, but it feels just as nice spoiling yourself. Get yourself a mani/ pedi, some Starbucks, and flowers! Who's the bomb? You are!

9. You can feel guilt free about girls night.

Every girl needs a girl's night out, once in a while. Being single means you can go out, and stay out till they kick you out. Some of the best memories are just being with your closest friends, having fun. No pressure of coming home before midnight, or a fight about how much you have drank that night. You deserve to have as many girls night's as you want! Grab your girls, and put on your dancing shoes!

10. You can learn who you are & what you want from life on your own.

Most important perk of being single is that you can figure out who you are. Sometimes being in a relationship makes you turn into someone you are not. You cannot fully focus on yourself, or what your goals are. Not all relationships are bad, but being single lets you figure things out. You can decide to be a better person without the influence of someone telling you who you are. There is no one there to label you, or mold you into their perfect image. You are perfect on your own, and you don't need someone there telling you anything different. Give yourself some time alone to love yourself. Be who you are, and never ever feel guilty about it!

Whenever you find the right guy for you all of these reasons will seem small compared to the love you will receive. You will be able to sacrifice giving your number out, acting crazy with your friend, and no shave November for that special someone. Being single does not have to be some sad tragic label. It can be amazingly freeing, but you have to decide to see it that way. In today's world a woman has to guard her heart, because there is so much fake love out there. That single status can sometimes get you down, but you just need to remember all the wonderful perks of being a single woman. Being single allows you to wait for the one and work on yourself in the meantime. Until then have fun, and carry on Single Ladies!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
