The in between of knowing where I belong & being stuck where I don't belong

  1. Focus on the bigger picture. I am currently working three jobs and have little time for myself and others. Sometimes I get so caught up in my daily struggles and forget my reason and purpose for working so hard. I am working these three jobs to save up so I can move to California and live my dream job of modeling/ writing/ dancing. I forget that my current struggles are actually helping me grow stronger for my future endeavors. I firmly believes everything happens for a reason. I feel I need to remember the reason why I am working so hard now is because soon there will be a big change in my life, and the universe is preparing me for that. Work hard and create a clear vision of what you want and the universe will reward you!
  2. Do one thing everyday that you love. When I end up working eleven hours a day I start to victimize myself and complain about my day. I know after my shift or before my shift I should write in my journal, work out or meditate even if I am exhausted because I know for a fact that always puts me in a better mood. If you just keep working yourself so hard without any reward it is easy to be burned out. Acknowledge the importance of clearing the chaos out of your head and taking time for yourself to do something you love.
  3. How strong your support system is, is equivalent to how strong you are. Acknowledge that you can’t be successful without any support. You can’t do it by yourself. Whatever it is. We as humans need support and empowerment from others. Surround yourself with people you respect and want to emulate. For me, I tend to put a lot of trust into people right away and trust comes with expectations. My expectations for others become so high they feel that their support will never fulfill my expectation for them. Learn the balance you personally need for a support system. Some people need more support than others. Some people need less support from others and more support from themselves. Create a support system that’s as strong as you!

If you would like donate to my dreams and help me get to California please donate on my gofundme link below! Anything you can give, every cent, every dollar with be greatly appreciated.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
