Ten Delicious Healthy Breakfast Ideas

The first thing I recommend you do as soon as you wake up is to DRINK WATER. I like to drink lemon water but you totally could put other fruits in your water too such as, pineapples, apples and cucumbers which will add a good flavor. Also, I suggest eating an apple every day because it helps with your digestive system.

1. Yogurt with blueberries and strawberries and granola

I recommend eating Chobani Vanilla Blended Non-Fat Greek Yogurt but plain yogurt is definitely healthier. I also suggest putting some Kind Granola with toasted coconut on top.

2. Multigrain Cheerios with bananas sliced up with 1 percent milk

I like to put my bananas in my cereal but some people don’t like to do that because it can get soggy. Personally, I don’t think it ever gets soggy so I put it right in it!

3. Whole wheat toast with almond butter and fruit sliced on top

The fresh fruit on top could really be anything including pears, bananas and strawberries. If you don’t like almond butter just spread regular butter which is just as good. The only thing you would be missing would be the protein from the almonds.

4. Avocado toast on whole wheat bread and a poached egg with a glass of orange juice

I toast whole wheat bread and spread half an avocado on my toast and then save the other half of avocado for a wrap for lunch! If poached eggs are not your thing then you can easily cook an over-easy egg which is just as simple.

5.) Scrambled eggs and a bowl of fresh fruit

Sometimes if the eggs are two plain I add a touch of salt but if you really want to be adventurous add some ketchup! The fresh fruit can include cantaloupe, melon, and grapes.

6.) Whole wheat bread with organic peanut butter with sliced bananas on top with a sprinkle of chia seeds.

You are probably thinking what will chia seeds do for my health? Well, it contains potassium and iron which is good for you!

7.) A smoothie with bananas, berries, yogurt and milk

Blend until smooth. The yogurt will make your smoothie rich and creamy.

8.) Homemade oatmeal (not the packets) with slices of bananas and almonds

Follow the instructions on how to make oatmeal and you will be ready to go

9.) Sliced granny smith apple with organic peanut butter

This breakfast idea will not fill you up but it is certainly easy to make. You can eat this in a grab and go situation.

10.) Two slices of whole wheat french toast with almond butter and some fruit and a glass of orange juice

French toast can take some time to cook but if you have the time go for it because it is delicious! Again, you can opt for regular butter if you want but you will be losing the protein from the meal.

Breakfast is supposed to be the biggest meal of the day and your meals are suppose to get progressively smaller. Eating these breakfasts fill me up and I feel so much better because they are healthy. I hope you all will give it a try!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
