Perks Of Being Short

People used to laugh at me, make jokes about my height, and bully me because of how short I was and to this day, still am. I am 4 feet 11 inches and I have been this height for about 4 years now. I used to hate it because of the bullying at a VERY young age. Now? I adore my height. When someone asks me what my favorite thing about myself is, I say my height. It makes me unique and there are SO many perks!

1. People’s bodies are smushed in your face, but it’s also WAAAAY easier to squeeze through crowds and get front row at concerts when you’re tiny, so, worth it.

2. Because of my height, people always assume I’m super innocent, so I can basically get away with anything. *cue evil laugh*

3. Also, I’ll always look younger than I am. That may be annoying now, but it won’t be when I’m 45

4. I can sleep anywhere on any couch and be comfortable because I’ll always fit.

5. Tall dudes automatically love me because I am liftable. We make a pretty adorable couple.

6. Oh, and if I ever want to be taller... All I need to do is put on a pair of good heels. Strut Strut Strut.

There are so many benefits and perks to being short! LOVE YOUR HEIGHT! BE UNIQUE!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
