We've all seen Netflix's newest original movie, "To All The Boys I've Loved Before." We've all secretly wanted to be the Lara Jean to Peter Kavinsky.
But, is finding the real-life Peter achievable for the rest of us average humans? Or are we all going to find ourselves like Ted Mosby when he goes to the Matchmaker and finds that out of the entire city of New York, only 8 people are suitable for him, and they're all taken.
To figure out the real answer, we have to break down the best character traits of Peter first.
1. He is attractive.
GiphyThe first part of finding a Peter is making sure the boy is somewhat attractive. Now, there are plenty of attractive guys around, but this is only the first of many things you need for your Peter.
2. He is humble.
Although we all know Peter is attractive, he doesn't act like your regular player. He doesn't flaunt his looks like he knows he's super attractive, rather he is humble and focuses on his personality.
3. He is understanding.
One of my favorite qualities of Peter is that he is understanding. When Lara Jean creates the contract with him, he never pressures her into something she is afraid of doing. Instead, he allows her to set the pace of the relationship, which is admirable.
4. He is level-headed.
Peter Kavinsky is one of the most level-headed boys I've ever seen. When things go wrong with him and Lara Jean, instead of getting mad, or just completely ghosting her, he takes the time to have an actual conversation, and apologize.
5. He is supportive.
When Lara Jean and Peter's hot tub video is leaked to the entire school, Peter defends Lara Jean, and respects her, rather than celebrating the video and his personal achievement.
Peter Kavinsky is the dream guy, and hopefully, we all meet our own.
