I've had one Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks in my entire life and I threw it away after two sips. WHY do people like these things??? I truly do not understand it??????
They're literally BRIGHT ORANGE!!!
I don't know why this one bothers me so much—I love when pumpkin pie makes an appearance at Thanksgiving and it's the same color. And obviously adding a bright orange vegetable to anything is going to make it bright orange... but something about taking a lid off of my Starbucks drink to see this thick, bright orange drink makes me way too uncomfortable.
Starbucks starts selling them way too early.
I'm all for getting into the holiday season early; I'm basically the first one to start celebrating Christmas after Halloween. But Starbucks brought out the Pumpkin Spice Latte in like August this year. And people went crazy!! I cannot be convinced that they enjoy drinking hot coffee when it's literally ninety degrees outside.
People who drink them refer to them as "PSL" (???)
Really? Yeah, I'm guilty of saying "RIP" or "LOL" out loud sometimes, but it's always in irony. There's no irony in casually slipping "PSL" into a conversation if you're a Pumpkin Spice Latte connoisseur.
They're so expensive...
It's a well-known fact that whatever you get at Starbucks is gonna be ridiculously overpriced unless it's just black coffee, but these things are like six bucks! I'm just saying, if y'all are guzzling these lattes as much as you say you are, you're wasting a lot of money doing it.
If you need a pumpkin pie fix this badly, just eat a piece of pumpkin pie????
I could be wrong on this one, but I thought the idea of a Pumpkin Spice Latte was to make you feel like you're drinking a piece of pumpkin pie (which is one, gross and two, weird), But do we have to be this extra with the pumpkin?
In other words, let's keep it simple, people.
