To my long and dearest man, my doctor, my Dr. Pepper,

How I long to hold you in my hands with your dripping water droplets as I rise you from the ice-cold Arctic that is the ice chest. You waited for me, in the midst of fear, darkness and ice, you waited there for me to reach for you; to pick you. You waited patiently for me and hid from any other hands that reached for your love. You just floated along the waves of heat, ice, water and particles, until you saw the light above the deep, ice oceans.

A hand reached for you. A hand that was warm, tender, loving and caring sought after you; and you revealed yourself. You allowed yourself to be loved. I was that hand.

Searching and searching, I found you in the deepest parts of the iced ocean, until I felt the presence of your cooling touch. Our skins touched, our hearts locked.

As I took you out from the darkness and into the light, your shiny, maroon coating twinkled in the sun. Your skin was dripping with fear and admiration in droplets. However, you soon stopped crying and saw me. Waiting to see you and know you, you saw me for who I was.

After some time, we saw our love spark and an endless coaster began to take its toll. Your name shinned; Dr. Pepper. Your age, your smell, your past and your future were all revealed when we first met.

We were destiny.

It was time to take the first steps in our relationship, and you finally opened up to me. Your spirit, dark and bubbly, rose to the surface as I looked into you and you into me.

Your taste, your texture, your spirit, your air became part of me. You refreshed my love and my thirst for a true companion. You filled me with love and dark secrets and I loved you for it.

I search for you at every party in hopes that you are still enclosed just for me. I look into every ice chest, in hopes that you are there floating for my love. I look for you at every supermarket in hopes of you seeing me.

l will look for you and I will never stop.

You make me feel invincible and filled with energy. Since we are both native Texans, we know that love cannot always be tamed and that life is not enough without a quick drop of energy and friendship.

You make me feel young and powerful and that is something that I could never forget. You will always be my man, Dr. Pepper, and no other Coke could compare to your unique taste.
