While it may only be April right now and spring is just starting to make an appearance in some places, people are already excited to go back to football this September. With the NFL schedule being announced last week, loyal fans have started planning their schedules and are getting ready to cheer their teams on for another season. Here is a look at ten of the biggest games to look forward to this season.
1. Carolina Panthers At Denver Broncos (Week One)
This year's annual kickoff game to start the season will be a rematch of last season's Super Bowl as Cam Newton looks to seek redemption against the Denver Broncos. It's important to note that with Peyton Manning retired and Brock Osweiler having gone to Houston, the Broncos will have somebody different calling the shots at quarterback.
2. Seattle Seahawks At Los Angeles Rams (Week Two)
For the first time in over 20 years, the NFL has a team playing its home games in Los Angeles as the Rams moved there from St. Louis this offseason. Their first home game at the L.A. Coliseum will be September 18, 2016, versus the Seahawks.
3. Green Bay Packers Vs. Minnesota Vikings (Week Two)
The Vikings will be back to playing their games indoors with the opening of U.S. Bank Stadium, and their first home challenge will be against the Packers on Sunday Night Football.
4. Cleveland Browns At Washington Redskins (Week Four)
After spending the first four seasons of his career in the nation's capital, Robert Griffin III returns to Washington, D.C. where he will battle his former team now as a member of the Cleveland Browns.

For the first time in over a decade, the NFL will play a regular season game down in Mexico as the Houston Texans will battle the Oakland Raiders on Monday Night Football.
7. Minnesota Vikings At Detroit Lions (Week 12)
This year the Vikings will head to Detroit to start off the Thanksgiving festivities, followed by the Washington Redskins at the Dallas Cowboys and later, the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Indianapolis Colts.
8. Seattle Seahawks At Carolina Panthers (Week 13)
Quarterbacks Cam Newton and Russell Wilson will square off for already the seventh time in their young careers in December. Wilson currently has the edge in the series 4-2.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers Vs. Cincinnati Bengals
For the first time since their intense match-up in last season's playoffs, the Steelers head back to Cincinnati to battle their division foes as the Bengals look to avenge last season's tough postseason exit.
10. Baltimore Ravens Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (Week 16)
With Christmas falling on a Sunday this year, most games will be pushed to Saturday on Christmas Eve. However, two games will still be featured on Sunday as division rivals will square off, with first the Ravens battling the Steelers, followed by the Denver Broncos at the Kansas City Chiefs.
