While you send your time at Loyola, you often make a list of things you’ll eventually do. Hopefully, you’ll finish the list before you graduate, but four years sometimes just doesn’t feel long enough.
Everyone has his or her own bucket list, but here’s the Loyola bucket list.
1. Play manhunt in humanities.
2. Make it to Cross Street one Saturday afternoon.
3. Attend an OPTIONS trip.
Whether it be night time snow tubing, fall break apple picking, laser tag, or a musical in New York City, I can promise you won’t regret going on it.
4. Have dinner at one of your professor’s houses.
Odds are at one point, your professor will most likely invite your class to have dinner at his or her house.
5. Take a picture on Humanities porch from the chairs.
6. Attend Sunday 10 p.m. mass in Hopkins Court Lounge at least once.
Shout-out to Fr. Rossi who is the real MVP.
7. Attend Rally.
8. Go to Formal at the Aquarium.
The Aquarium has dolphins, enough said.
9. Attend Lessons & Carols.
10. Read the Bible at least once fully through.
I can most likely almost guarantee within your four years at Loyola you will read the bible from cover to cover.
11. Attend an Orioles game.
12. Do a semester of service through CCSJ.
It gives you an opportunity to see the city in a different light; you’ll regret if when you’re gone that you didn’t do service.
13. Take a trip on the Sophomore Mystery Bus.
What could be more fun than a trip with 30 other sophomores who also don’t know exactly where you’re going? You’re also a sophomore only once.
14. Go to Mid-Night Breakfast/Snack.
Now what’s better than free food in the middle of the night on a Friday or Saturday night? The answer is nothing.
15. Go on an OAE trip, whether it is a day trip or overnight trip.
Trust me, sometimes it’s nice to get out of the city and see some nature.
16. Have a conversation with Fr. Linnane.
How often can people say they have met their president, see them working out the gym, or even recognize him probably not often unless you go to a school like Loyola. We all know Fr. Linnane is a celebrity on campus.
17. Take a spontaneous trip to Washington D.C.
18. Go to Hamden, walk into a random restaurant, and eat.
No matter which restaurant you choose, you’ll have good food. It’s like an unspoken rule that all the restaurants in Hamden are basically the best, and they have all types of food.
19. Be an inter-mural league champion.
Even inter-mural sports are competitive for Champions t-shirt.
