Some may say you're crazy, and they may be right.

10 Truths Of Living In A Sorority House
Haley Spalding

Never in my life did I imagine I would be living in a sorority house with 37 other women. I lived in my sorority house my sophomore year, I currently live in it during my junior year and will continue living in-house my senior year.

After living in the house, there are 10 things I have found to be absolutely true.

1. There is never enough food. Chips? Forget those, a bag lasts about a day at maximum. Dessert? If you aren't there when it's served, you don't get any. Leftovers will be eaten after midnight or on Saturday's and Sunday's. You will check the fridge multiple times a day in hopes that new groceries have appeared.

2. Everyone else's closet becomes your closet. The phrase, "I have nothing to wear can I look in your closet?" will be said every night you go out. Often times when someone wears something they just bought you can tell immediately that it is a new item. You also know who in the house wears your same shoe size.

3. The struggle of no boys allowed in the majority of the house is incredibly inconvenient, yet awesome. Yes, it is a bummer that your boyfriend, dad, grandpa or friend can't come hangout in your room. However, it is pretty nice walking around the house with no makeup, in a towel and in pajamas at all hours.

4. You will get cold water thrown on you in the shower. The shower, a perfect time to prank your friend when she least expects it. If you aren't the one plotting the prank, you're the one receiving it.

5. Hair is everywhere. It is in the shower, on the floor, on your clothes, on the futon, in your socks, just EVERYWHERE. You can vacuum all you want, but chances are within 30 minutes you'll find more of it.

6. You always have a makeup artist, hairdresser and manicurist at your fingertips. Because everyone knows who in the house knows how to work a curling iron, do winged eyeliner or a hot smokey eye, and who can do designs on your nails. This person is in HIGH demand any time there is a party.

7. There is always someone to hang out with. Wandering down the hall gives you a perfect reason to pop into someone's room and see what's up. Chances are you'll end up there for at least 20 minutes talking about everything you did that day, the professor you hate and the guy that just liked your Instagram picture.

There is always someone down to watch a movie on a Friday night. There is always someone you can drag to the gym with you. There is always someone who is up for a midnight Taco Bell run.

8. Since there is always someone to hang out with, you are NEVER alone. As much as you love your sisters, you'll start to forget when the last time you were alone was.

Other than that shower you took yesterday, you haven't been alone in awhile. There is always someone poking their head in your door, running down the halls or studying in the living room or basement.

9. There's always someone in every major whether you need help in an elective class or biochemistry. You know exactly who to seek out for homework help because chances are someone in the house has already done that same assignment. There are the math wizards, the artsy design gurus and the political science know it alls.

10. You will never get to experience this again in your life, so embrace the chaos and enjoy the laughter. Some may think you're crazy for choosing to live in a sorority house with 37 other women, and sometimes they may be right.

However, at the end of the day the memories made within those four walls will stick with you the rest of your life and become one of your most cherished memories.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
