First of all, congratulations on graduating high school! I am so very proud of who you have grown up to be. Not only proud but also amazed at how fast the time has flown by. You may only be a few years younger than me, but you’re still my baby brother. To see you in that cap and gown is surreal.
You’re too cool for school, it’s a good thing you graduated.
How you went from playing pretend with me, to a high school graduate, baffles me. There’s a rumor that all little brothers are stinky, loud and annoying (and you may have had your moments), but you put those rumors to shame. How did you become so cool? You walk with such confidence and swag, you jam out in the car like a pro, and you take me on the best adventures. You may be too cool for high school now, but you’ll do great in college!
I’m so proud of who you’ve grown up to be.
You are so genuine and kind, you treat people from all walks of life with respect, and the love of God shines through you brightly. You are so smart. I remember when I used to read to you, and now you help me with my homework from time to time! You’ve already accomplished so much and I’m excited to see what you’ll do in the future.
Seeing you graduate was surreal.
All I could see was my baby brother in a cap and gown. How could you be old enough to reach this milestone in your life? But, I know you have earned it. You have studied hard and earned good grades, all while keeping a busy schedule. You have worked after-school jobs, played on countless sports teams, stayed involved in church, been a part of almost every club, served as a student officer, tutored preschoolers, coached elementary basketball, and still spent time with our family. You have not only worked hard, but you had fun doing it. And that showed at the graduation ceremony as well. From you "dabbing" as you walked down the aisle, to handing the bald principle a can of hair spray as you firmly shook his hand, it was quite evident in your shining personality.
I am so proud of you, lil' bro. You have worked most of your life for this moment and there is no telling what you’ll do next. But there is one thing for certain, you’ll do it with kindness, humility, hard work, and a lot of fun. Congratulations, lil' bro!
