10 traits of a good leader
- 1.He knows how to communicate with others effectively.
He is a good public speaker and a good writer.
- 2.He is determined in accomplishing goals.
- 3.He is a good team player.
He listens to others and recognizes what the other teammates bring to the table.
- 4.He is a good decision maker.
He makes decisions that benefit the whole team not just himself.
- 5.He is assertive.
He is confident to express himself.
- 6.He is a good role model.
He is smart and kind. People look up to him.
- 7.He is not jealous of others' success.
He appreciates the strengths of other teammates as they add value to the project.
- 8.He is brave.
He is able to step out of his comfort zone in order to succeed.
- 9.He doesn't procrastinate.
He is able to time manage effectively.
- 10.He is a dreamer.
He has many ideas and inspires others to take action.
Leadership Activity: What can you do today to work on this core value?
Some ideas: writing down the goals you have for this year, enrolling in a public speaking class, or reading about people who were a good leader.
