Homework is the worst part of being in college. It’s either so easy you don’t want to do it or so hard you can’t imagine how you’ll learn it. But if you follow these easy steps you might get to it one day.

  1. Pull out homework you have to do
  2. Open laptop
  3. Go to Netflix
  4. Online Shopping
  5. Pinterest
  6. Edit a new Instagram photo
  7. Do your makeup
  8. Take off your make up
  9. Try another makeup look
  10. Take 100 selfies with your new makeup
  11. Call your mom
  12. Call your best friend
  13. Call your mom again to talk to the dog
  14. Watch another episode on Netflix
  15. Take a nap
  16. Make a snack
  17. Eat a different snack while the first one cooks
  18. Do squats
  19. Do sit ups
  20. Take another nap cause you exercised
  21. Eat more food
  22. Paint your nails
  23. Smudge your nails cause they took too long to dry
  24. Repaint them
  25. Smudge again
  26. Give up and take off nail polish
  27. Scroll through Twitter
  28. Snapchat everyone you know
  29. Download Tinder
  30. Create your profile
  31. Go through every guy in 100 miles
  32. Hate yourself cause Tinder guys are so cringy
  33. Wait a few minutes and see if more guys pop up
  34. Change up your profile to see if you get more matches
  35. Send all the screenshots you took to everyone
  36. Turn on Netflix in the background to feel more productive
  37. Get bored of Tinder and reopen Pinterest
  38. Then switch to Twitter again
  39. Plan your weekend
  40. Pick out your outfits for the weekend
  41. Plan your future wedding
  42. Go back to Tinder to see if any of your matches could be your future husband
  43. Replan your wedding to match one of the guys who messaged you
  44. Name all your future children
  45. Go house hunting
  46. Look at home decor
  47. Realize your hungry again
  48. Make a “well rounded” dinner
  49. Decide since your dinner was healthy to eat ice cream
  50. Text friends to see if anyone is in the library
  51. Find someone who is and is planning on staying all night
  52. Pack up all your homework you have yet to touch
  53. Go to Starbucks. Coffee = homework energy
  54. Find friends at an already crowded table
  55. Add your own homework to the stack of books on the table already
  56. Pull out laptop and open to blackboard
  57. Sit on phone for two hours
  58. Realize you are exhausted and too tired to work
  59. Pack up work
  60. Go home and go to sleep

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
