On the 14th of October, Wikileaks published more emails for the world to see. But this time they did not belong to former secretary Hillary Clinton, instead they belonged to John Podesta, a current adviser to Hillary's campaign and former Chief of Staff during Bill Clinton's presidency. Let me say first by reading these emails I can tell you the only thing for sure I've learned about John Podesta's character: he loves money. Want proof? In one email the subject line read "$" and soon after a 50,000$ dollar donation came in from Louis Sussman. He will do literally anything for money and power because he is a corporate democratic hack. He is no different from Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, or Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This included a deal with the King of Morocco that Hillary Clinton personally assisted. The total donated money amount.. 12 million dollars.

This same man John Podesta was responsible for the censorship in the New York Times, which I have before called out for previous journalistic malpractice. The censorship included the changing of the word "criminal" in an article ran back in July of 2015 regarding Clinton's personal email server. So monetary greed, check. Denial of free speech, check. Man, he is almost as evil as Martin Shkreli, but at least he did raise drug prices for people with life threatening conditions or anything.. except he did that too, well kinda. Basically back in December of 2011, Bill Clinton gave a speech where he mentioned that the prices of medicine for people with Aids, a life threatening condition, should be lowered. While John Podesta himself did not raise prices directly, he did say “We have always told the drug companies that we would not pressure them". So this guy wants to give unlimited power to drug companies so they can do whatever they want. Martin Shkreli might have gotten caught, but the crowd of CEO's who raise drug prices is about to get a lot more new members.

In summation, these emails really do not change the doubts and concerns we have on the soon to be Clinton administration. However, they do solidify the exact fears we had about the moral compass of Hillary and her staff. They are greedy, power hungry politicians that are suiting up to take control of this country's highest office so they can make life easier for them and their campaign contributors. Hillary will not go help those in Flint Michigan still struggling to find safe drinking water when she can be buddy with the King of Morocco in hopes of another 12 million dollars finding a way into her bank account. She will not fight the advance of global warming caused by fracking and burning of fossil fuels when a great deal of her donors have million dollar companies reliant on coal, natural gas, and oil. Hillary will start wars in whatever country has resources that American companies want and they will do this because they have paid their bribes. Saddest of all, she will continually lie to the masses despite the American population knowing her true character and those in her campaign who support her.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
