As if Florida State University wasn't already nervous about this weekend's home game against Clemson, now they are a bit more rattled.

The university has suspended Winston for the teams' first game in the wake of an obscene phrase he yelled on campus Tuesday. Students at the University have been curious about what he had yelled. Have you ever seen the viral clip where a news reporter asks a question and the man being interviewed states, "f--k her right in the p---y"?  Florida State quarterback and Heisman trophy winner, Jameis Winston, decided to imitate and shout this now popularized phrase across the busy student union.  Students who witnessed the event immediately took their thoughts to Twitter.

Florida State students have had varying reactions to this news. "What Jameis said was careless and disrespectful, whether it was a joke or not," said junior, Robin Coulantes. "He needs to think before he speaks, or should I say before he yells, in front of people."

Junior, Katie Thompson, said, "Jameis is unfairly viewed under a microscope and scrutinized for every mistake he makes. We often forget that he is a college student and he is learning who he is as a person."

Winston met with media officials on Wednesday. He said, "I messed up and I have to accept the fact I did that. It eats me alive I did something like that. I can't carry myself that way and me and Sean, we're going to watch film and I'm going to try my best to put our team in a good chance to win this game."

Sean Maguire will be starting as quarterback for Florida State in the first half of the game against Clemson. Winston had nothing but high praises to his backup quarterback and apologized for his actions.

Florida State junior, Lloyd Combs, said, "I think it seriously hurts our chances of winning against Clemson and advancing to the National Championship."

Some students are trying to maintain positive in the hopes that the Seminoles will defeat the Clemson Tigers.

When asked if Florida State will still have a chance at a victory this weekend, Thompson commented, "I have no fear that our team will succeed this Saturday on the football field. We know what we are capable of overcoming."

The Seminoles and the Tigers take the field at Doak Campbell Stadium this Saturday at 8 p.m. Seminole fans are hoping that the suspension of Winston does not affect the possibility of victory, while Tiger fans will be rejoicing if it does.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
