Dreams are a confusing but an interesting part of our lives. Some people can remember their dreams every night, while some feel like they have never even had a dream. Dreaming gives us a glimpse into our subconscious, allowing us to explore the mysteries of the brain.
It is troubling to many that they do not understand their dreams. We should evaluate those mysteries and attempt to figure out the true meaning of our dreams. Although everyone is different, many people have similar dreams. I have analyzed some of the most common dreams we have to try to find an explanation as to what falling into a pit of pudding might mean.
1. Falling
These dreams are one of the most common among people today. Some say that your subconscious is trying to tell you something in your life is moving in the wrong direction. But that isn’t it; you’re just clumsy.
You’ve fallen in your dream because you have tripped over something, just like you do every day in real life. This time, it was probably a rock which caused you to fall down a steep mountain. Your subconscious over-dramatizes your falling, creating a much more prolonged fall than the ones you experience while awake. Just be more careful, because a big fall may be ahead; and then you truly will be headed in the wrong direction. You’ll be alright, just watch your step.
2. Being naked in public
If you have woken up in a cold and anxious sweat, you probably just had this dream. Don’t worry! This dream is a clear sign you are meant to join a nudist colony.
Even though you may have been completely mortified by your lack of clothing in public in your dream, it is just your mind adjusting to the thought of you being nude in front of others. It’s freaky at first, but it gets better (and feels great). Your carefree and loving nature fits in perfectly with those who are constantly nude, and your subconscious knows it. You may not be very eager to do this right now, but I’m sure in time you will be able to feel comfortable naked in public. I’m not aware of any nude colonies at the moment, but if you feel that you are ready to make this step, let me know and I will help you find one.
3. Lil Wayne telling you that you're his best friend
If you're like me and you have this dream about twice a year, here is what you should do.
This is a cry for help from popular rapper Lil Wayne. He needs a person like you by his side, supporting him, especially with all the drama in today's music industry. At this point, you may be wondering; why me? I’m just a Jewish kid from the Midwest. But what you don’t know is that you are exactly what Lil Wayne needs. With your love of music, flashy cars, the Young Money record label, and your caring and loving personality, you are the perfect person to be Lil Wayne’s best friend. Take this opportunity! Go find him! He needs you. I can promise that the moment he sees you, Weezy will know exactly why you have come into his life and will be eternally grateful.
4. Not being able to open your mouth
There is only one explanation to a dream of this type: you miss your mother… and her cooking. Your mouth is sick and tired of eating ramen and/or microwavable chicken nuggets everyday because you’re a poor college student. It’s time to switch it up; your mouth can’t take it anymore and will prevent any non-homemade food from entering your body by keeping it shut until changes are made.
Obviously, the only person who can help you solve this issue is your mother. Her delicious homemade meals are the only ones that can bring tears to your eyes when you come downstairs for dinner and see what she has prepared. She’s the best, and you need her--and her food. Chances are, she is thinking about you 24/7 and would LOVE a surprise visit from her favorite child who loves her cooking so much (you). So get up now, go home to your mother, and EAT!
5. Dinosaurs chasing you
In your past life, you were a caveman/cavewoman who lived among many dinosaurs. As a caveman without many resources, you often had to take from others to take care of yourself. One day, you went to steal some dinosaur eggs to make yourself breakfast. The dinosaur was sleeping next to its eggs, so you were being extra careful. However, in your attempt to leave quietly, you tripped over a log and woke up the dinosaur. Being protective of its eggs, the dinosaur immediately rose from slumber and began chasing you. You are clearly having a flashback from your previous life as a caveman.
6. Getting shot
If you had a dream that you were shot by someone, this could mean a few things.
It cud mean that your body is trying to tell you that you are not up to date with your vaccinations! The phrase "getting shot" is similar to "getting a shot," so your mind confuses the two and decides it wants you to go to the doctor. Even if you don’t believe this is the reasoning behind your dream, I recommend calling your doctor ASAP and scheduling an appointment, just to be safe.
It could also be that in your dream, you got shot because you upset someone. Whether you realize it or not, you have upset someone in real life as well. Now, this definitely does not mean that they will try to shoot you, but I think you should apologize to them, just in case.
Finally, this dream clearly shows that you are invincible. You got shot, survived, and didn't get hurt at all! Wow, you're incredible. Keep in mind, not all humans are gifted this power, so be sure to use it for good, not evil. Now, go out and do anything you want to, because you can.
