This is a thought that goes through my mind more often than I'd like to admit, but sadly, this is how it is.

Boys, let's get this straight. If you start talking to me every day and night, I'm obviously going to get attached to you in one way or another. Even if I never planned to, it will happen.

So, before you press send and invite me over or decide to put some effort in with me, make sure that you won't suddenly disappear...because you know, that happens to me a lot.

I don't think that you get that I feel so special until I see you talk to everyone like that.

I step back and think, "Oh? I guess him flirting with me 24/7 and inviting me over is a casual thing for multiple people...not just me?"

But why? Why is it so hard to be with one girl? Is ONE really not enough???

I mean, REALLY? Some girls may not even be asking for a relationship, but apparently, asking for a guy not to get with a million girls while he's talking to us implies that a relationship is all we're looking for.

Well, you're wrong.

Not every girl wants to be in a relationship. I, for example, just want good company, a guy to vibe with, converse and laugh with. I just want to have someone around that makes me feel comfortable and wanted. Someone to make me feel like I matter in this world.

Start off simple and let the rest find itself, but don't decide for me and then imply that me not being into fuckboys simply means I want a full-blown relationship like TOMORROW??

You know what's sexier than a bad boy? A man with his shit together. Even a guy that is on a path to getting his shit together is sexier and more approachable than a boy that takes pride in his "number."

No girl wants a guy that flirts with everyone. And no guy wants a girl who wants to be his girlfriend on the first day they meet.

Things take time people!!! But we have to remember that this time still matters. Just because you're not "dating" them yet, doesn't mean you should f*ck around with whoever you want until the knot is officially tied.

How is that concept so hard to follow in the millennial world?

In this day and age, the guy you like is currently texting four other girls the same thing and has a snap streak with even more of them. And he's mad because he doesn't think that's flirting... but isn't it though?

Tweeting at someone and saying "Thanks, babe" is the same thing as saying it in person... Social media is just allowing it to look more nonchalant and casual, even though it really isn't.

Being with me is pretty simple. Just text me back in a timely manner, make me laugh, and don't be a hoe.... please and thanks.

Therefore, I damn sure hope I'm still around when you finally realize why you run away from love.
