Whether your first or 51st CrossFit class, it brings with it a wave of emotions from beginning to end (even though classes are only one hour). From tears to triumph, Mindy Kaling captures it all. She would be an amazing workout partner, probably because she'd ease your guilt over bear claws you two skipped the gym to get.
1. Making the decision to do it
You've told yourself you would for a while, and you're actually following through with it.
2. Telling your friends about it in hopes of support, but they just doubt/laugh at you
They're just jealous.
3. Arriving to your first class
A little nervous, a little scared, a little excited.
4. Trying to hide that you're already out of breath from the warm-up
I wasn't slouched on my couch consuming twice my daily calories 40 minutes ago...
5. Not knowing what to do
Everything about foundations class... out the window.
6. The first 10 - 15 minutes
Okay, I just need to do that 6 more times.
7. When your puny muscles are going to tear and the coach says "Is everyone done warming up?"
Those were practice reps? Oh....okay... no, really, I'm fine
8. Your burst of energy in the Workout of the Day
This isn't so bad!
9. And it's downfall, 5 minutes later..
Nevermind, this sucks.
10. "20 reps overhead squad, 20 reps shoulder press..."
And.....there's....more...

Stop talking stop talking stop talking
11. Finally getting done with the last exercise
You did it!
12. Convincing yourself to go to the next class
I guess that didn't suck too bad...
