Let's be honest, we all have classes at some point in time that we just hands-down can't stand. And we've all pulled out our computer and pretended to be doing something productive, while in reality we're just mindlessly browsing the web. So the next time you're feeling bored in a class, "take some notes" on your computer, and check out these extremely entertaining sites:
1. Pinterest
Whether you're searching for crafts you can make to spice up your dorm room, or looking for some yummy new snacks to try out in your kitchen after class, Pinterest has a little something for everyone with 50 billion pins.
2. Fmylife
Okay so let's be honest, some of these posts are sad, but most of them are just really hilarious to read. Nothing cures a miserable class or a spell of boredom quite like a good laugh. Plus, its human nature to (guiltily) feel a little better while laughing at something silly that happened to others.
3. Webkinz
Whether you want to admit or not, you were definitely addicted to Webkinz at some point throughout your childhood. So go ahead and bring out your inner kid and hop into Webkinz World visit Dr. Quack and Ms. Birdy again! Oh, and did I mention that you can now make an account for free without having to buy a stuffed animal?
4. Tumblr
Tumblr has such a variety of things to look at, from funny GIFs of your favorite shows and movies, to inspiration for gifts to give to your sorority little. Like Pinterest, Tumblr also has a little bit of something for everyone, whether you're searching for adorable pictures of puppies or something to make you LOL.
5. Buzzfeed
Whether you're looking for the latest news in entertainment, fun quizzes that will determine what Disney character you would be, or funny videos of people doing bizarre things, Buzzfeed has you covered.
6. Coloring Pages 4 U
Recently, there has been a huge rise in popularity of coloring pages for adults. Whether it's to relieve stress or cure boredom, coloring pages will make you feel happy and like a kid again. What's great about this is site is that you can digitally color the pages online, choosing from more advanced coloring pages like intricate mandalas, or sticking to the good old basics like Disney characters or Spongebob.
7. StumbleUpon
StumbleUpon is great because it's specifically designed to fit your interests and hobbies. You start off by choosing at least 5 things you're interested in and the site will bring up different articles and sites relating to what you chose, whether it be food/cooking or animals. You can give each new site a thumbs up or thumbs down, allowing the site to become more personalized to you.
8. Cute Overload
A site that literally consists of nothing but pictures of videos and pictures of adorable little animals, what could be better!?
9. The Fluffington Post
Okay, okay so I know this is another site filled with cute, furry creatures. But I couldn't help myself. I mean come on, what cheers you up during a boring class more than precious animals? Plus, as a bonus, this site allows you to browse by what kind of animal you want to see.
10. College Humor
College Humor has everything, from funny articles, to videos, to pictures that will definitely make you LOL (Just try not to laugh too loud, you are still in class after all!)
11. Reddit (Writer's pick: Shower Thoughts)
Reddit can basically be summed up as an online bulletin board where members can submit their own posts or links. My favorite section of Reddit has to be the "Shower Thoughts" section. Everyone knows you have your most deep thoughts while in the shower, and some of the things that these people think of will BLOW YOUR MIND (in a good way).
