A: Adventure

Go on an adventure somewhere new that you can explore with friends or family.

A: Art Gallery

Visit a nearby art gallery and spend an afternoon admiring beautiful works of art.

B: Baking

Try baking a cake, brownies, or even a pie to share with the whole family.

B: Beach

Grab your sunscreen and head down to the coast for a beach day!

C: Camping

Whether it's in a national park or in your backyard, spend a night camping outdoors.

C: Concert

Find out about artist coming to play in your area, and enjoy a show.

D: D.I.Y.

Pinterest is full of Do it Yourself projects and crafts.

D: Drive-in Movie

Find a drive-in movie theater near you and enjoy a film from the comfort of your car.

E: eBay

Make some extra money by selling some of your unwanted things on eBay.

E: Events

Find out about events going on in your community. You never know what you've been missing out on.

F: Farmer's Market

Nothing beats locally grown fruits and vegetables. Look into your community's farmer's market, and pick up some fresh produce.

F: Fishing

Grab the poles, find a pond, and cast those lines!

G: Game Night

Host a game night. Between board games, gaming consoles, and wide variety of other group games to play, the fun can go on for hours.

G: Garden

Have you ever tried growing anything? Start this summer. Try flowers or vegetables. And if you don't have a "green thumb," take a walk through a botanical garden.

H: Help

Help someone in need by lending a hand to to a friend, neighbor, coworker, or even stranger.

H: Hike

Look up some local hiking or walking trails, and just take off. Let yourself get absorbed in nature, and simply enjoy the journey.

I: Ice Skating

Cool off on a hot day with ice skating.

I: Invest

Start saving your money to invest in something you've wanted to get.

J: Jewelry

Making your own jewelry can be simple. Making friendship bracelets with loved ones is a good bonding experience.

J: Journal

Memories fade, but you can keep them alive by writing them down. Keep a journal this summer, and make an effort to write in it every day. These memories will last you a lifetime.

K: Karaoke

Set up a mic and some speakers, and give all of your friends a chance to show off what they've with a karaoke night.

K: Kite

Take advantage of a windy day by flying a kite.

L: Laser Tag

Find a laser tag facility near you, and enjoy a round of fun with friends or family.

L: Listen

Sit back, relax, and listen to an audiobook, podcast, or music.

M: Massage

A great massage is incredibly relaxing and enjoyable, so treat yourself to one.

M: Museum

Spend an afternoon exploring a historical museum, and learn about the surrounding area.

N: Netflix

Find a TV show and binge-watch it. If you don't have a Netflix account, you can signup for a free 30-day trial

N: New

Try something new.

O: Organize

Get organized this summer by cleaning out your closet, desk, or even attic. There's no telling what kinds of lost treasures you will find.

O: Origami

From cranes to hearts, paper can be folded into almost anything. There are lots of step-by-step origami videos on YouTube, so pick one out and give it your best shot.

P: Paint

Pick up a paintbrush, and let your creativity flow. Paint your masterpiece on canvas, paper, a wall, or even someone's back.

P: Picnic

Pack some food, grab some friends, and enjoy a nice lunch outside. Bring some board games for the entire group to play.

Q: Quit

Quit a bad or unhealthy habit that you have and replace with a more positive habit.

R: Roller Skating

Find a skating rink near you and lace up your skates. Roller skating is something the entire family can enjoy together.

R: Run

Running can be boring, but you can spice things up by signing up for a marathon. There are 5k Color Runs and lots of other themed marathons that you can sign up for.

S: Stargazing

On a clear night, spread out some blankets on the ground, lay flat on your back, stare upwards, and realize how magnificent the universe is around you. Use apps like SkyView to know what you are looking at.

S: Swimming

Almost every town has a community swimming pool, public pond, or some sort of area where residents can swim. Find yours, and go for a dip.

T: Thrift Shopping

Nothing beats getting cute clothes at a cheap price. Spend a day checking out all of the thrift stores in your area—you never know what goodies you'll find.

T: Tie Dye

Tie dying shirts, shorts, a dress, or even your bed sheets is a fun activity that you and your friends can all do together.

U: Update

It is always good to keep your resume up-to-date, so spend a few hours updating and perfecting it.

U: UrbanQuest

An UrbanQuest is part scavenger hunt, part amazing race mission in your city. These guys have quests available for purchase in many, but not all, cities across the world.

V: Vegan/Vegetarian

Try a vegan or vegetarian diet for a short period of time, like three days or a week. It probably isn't as hard as you would think

V: Volunteer

Devote some of your free time to make a difference in your community. Volunteer at a soup kitchen, visit a nursing home, or go play with the puppies and kittens at you local shelter. There are a lot of ways you can volunteer your time and make a positive impact on your community,

W: Water Balloon War

Invite some friends over, fill buckets with water balloons, and let the war begin.

W: Work

Earn money by working a summer job.

X: Xbox

If you like video games, spend a day playing different games on an Xbox.

Y: Yard Sale

Another way to earn money over the summer is by having a yard sale. Post some signs up and spend a Saturday morning getting money for all of the things you need to get rid of.

Y: Yoga

Relax, balance, and stretch your body out with some peaceful yoga.

Z: Ziplining

If you have the opportunity, try ziplining. It is an exhilarating rush of adrenaline.

Z: Zoo

Visit a zoo nearby, and enjoy a day observing animals.

With this list of activities, it should be hard to stay bored this summer!

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
