Everyone always says that Halloween sneaks right up on people, or that they're too old for it. That they wish they could enjoy it like how they did as a kid. Maybe it's because they're not that scared of the monsters beneath their bed, or because magic may seem like a hard thing to come by. But here is a list of Halloween-themed episodes and movies that will make anyone break out the candy corn and those old Halloween costumes.


1. "Halloweentown!" (The whole movie series)


Halloweentown is a classic! A family full of witches coming into their powers and battling forces of evil? Every kid loves it.

2. "Even Stevens: A Very Scary Story"

No one seems to really know why we were so fascinated by the Stevens Family, we just know that we loved them, and especially their specials!

3. "Twitches and Twitches Too!"

Twin? Witches? Both?! Yes please!

4. "The Proud Family: A Hero For Halloween!"

The Proud Family was great for a number of reasons, and their Halloween episode was definitely a fun one!

5. "Mom's Got A Date With A Vampire"

Every kid wants to get their single mom out of the house at some point or another, and getting them to go on a date is a good way to do so. It's not their fault he would rather suck her blood.

6. "Scooby Doo! And The Witches Ghost"

Who doesn't love Scooby and the gang? Especially when they make friends with an awesome Eco-goth band and take on ghosts.

7. "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody: The Ghost of Suite 613"

"I. Like. Pizza! What are you going to do about it?"

8. "The Addams Family"

This just goes without saying.

9. "Lizzie McGuire: Night of the Day of the Dead"

Halloween parties and freaking out your rival? Lizzie and her friends mastered it!

10. "The Little Vampire"

Apparently vampires make amazing best friends?

11. "Ruby Gloom"

Ruby and her friends are probably the cutest monsters ever. If you've never seen it before it's definitely something you should check out!

That's probably not the best way to prove it Cas, but he gets better at making friends the longer she lives with him.

All Raven wanted was to be invited to Alana's party..

Mickey and Minnie's club gets overrun by villains come Halloween night! This special is full of creepy and cooky shorts.

Two words: Headless. Horseman.

17. "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Meet the Wolfman"

Alvin and the Chipmunks may or may not have a run in with werewolf the night of their school play.

The beginning of a lot of children's love for witches and magic!

Sure, it's a Christmas and Halloween movie all in one.. Nobody cares!

Don't let the cute girl and her cat fool you.. this movie is creep-central.

It's funny, it's creepy, it's got Eddie Murphey!

22. "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown"

Every child should watch the Charlie Brown specials, and if you want to feel like a kid again this will definitely help.

Just... yes.

Viewer beware, you're in for a scare!

Is she a princess? Robot? Even she doesn't know what's going on. But she knows Drakken probably does.

This one is pretty new, but it's actually an awesome film! It's about a little boy who can see ghosts, and may be one of the only ones able to right a horrible wrong.

Remember all those times you accidentally hit the house next door? Be grateful it didn't hit you back like this one would.

29. "The Scream Team"

Extreeeeme oldie but such a goodie! This movie has Tommy Davidson (who also may be in number 4 as Oscar Proud), Kathy Najimy, and even a young Kat Dennings!

30. "Scary Godmother: Halloween Spooktacular"

When an evil older cousin tries to wreck this little girls Halloween, Scary Godmother comes to the rescue and takes her to the Fright Side and brings her to a party full of monsters and ghouls!

31. "Ghostbusters"

They ain't afraid of no ghost!

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
