College is rough sometimes. The studying, the grades, the stress. But it can also be fun. The friends, going out, dating. Whoever said a picture is worth a thousand words probably didn't know about gifs. I'm guessing there's a conversion factor but I'll let you figure that out with 17 ways the adorable Michelle Tanner relates to our college experiences.

1. On the first day of school:

When you get to see your friends again:

When you walk by a classroom your friend is in:

When you tell your friends goodbye after the first day:

2. On working out:

When you try to get in shape at the start of the semester:

When you find a new workout buddy:

When you try so hard:

3. On dieting:

But the diet just isn't working out...

and you remember food...

...food...

and more food.

4. On cute boys:

When you notice the new, cute boy in your class...

and you start daydreaming instead of listening to the lecture.

5. On going out:

Planning the first night out:

The first night out of the semester...

dancing with your friends...

and trying out your moves on that new boy from class.

But after the first night out...

6. On procrastination:

We're all guilty of it.

7. On running late for class:

8. On broke college students:

9. On studying:

When its halfway through the semester and you actually have to start doing homework...

and studying all night long...

and pulling all nighters.

10. On studying with friends:

When your friends ask you for help...

and it seems so simple to you...

but you just can't seem to get through to them...

11. After a long week of studying:

12. On homework:

When you find out you have a homework due in 20 minutes:

13. On tests:

When you get to the first test and are not prepared:

When you walk out the test:

When the teacher is passing out the graded tests, and you're afraid to see how you did:

When you actually did well on your first test...

On the outside:

On the inside:

14. On motivation:

When your parents try to give you motivation:

....

15. On giving up on our majors:

When you consider options in the acting field...

or life as a singer.

16. On grade-grubbing:

When you try to kiss up to your teacher:

and beg for extra credit or a curve.

When the teacher denies you of your extra points...

and proceeds to thank you for stopping by

17. On persevering:

However hard the semester may seem,

and always remember:

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
