As everyone is getting all jazzed up about the 2016 election, people are very sure to make their candidate of choice known. However, some enthusiastic voters can be quite harsh when expressing their political opinions to those who do not share the same views as them. That is why I have created this list on how you can express your own political opinions without completely bashing the opinions of other voters.

1. Talk about your candidate of choice with friends who share the same view as you.

I'm sure that they would love to hear you go off on your "I love [insert candidate here]" tangent and they would even contribute to it, resulting in a thoughtful political conversation.

2. Bake a cake with your candidate of choice's name on it.

It doesn't even have to be a cake. Cupcakes, pies, and cookies are all acceptable forms of patriotic baked goods. Either way, it's going to taste like freedom.

3. Go to Build-a-Bear and make a bear that resembles your candidate of choice.

I'm almost positive you can find an orange tinted bear and maybe one with whispy white fur to resemble whichever candidate you support. Dress it up with a red, white and blue shirt or maybe a classy pant suit and you got yourself a bear ready for the Oval Office.

4. Go to your candidate of choice's rally.

There's no better way to back up your candidate than being one of the loyal supporters cheering and enthusiastically nodding their heads at everything the candidate is saying. Notice how I didn't say "protest the other candidate's rally", I said go to your candidate's rally.

5. Write a rap song about your candidate of choice.

Nothing goes viral like a good homemade rap song about relevant topics and if you're lucky enough the candidate may play the rap song in the background of a campaign commercial.

6. Write slam poetry about your candidate of choice.

Look to 22 Jump Street for inspiration. This doesn't even have to rhyme, as long as you put emotion and passion behind the poetry it's sure to woo anyone who hears it.

7. Watch debates.

For extra fun, give yourself a treat every time you don't yell at the TV.

8. Play "Political Candidate Bingo" when watching debates.

Mark off things like "insults other candidate," or "talks about the solution to terrorism" and don't forget that "FREE SPACE" because America.

9. Follow social media accounts that support your candidate of choice.

Bonus points to you if you make your own social media account supporting that candidate.

10. Write a children's story about your candidate of choice and their ideas.

One Trump, Two Trump, Red Trump, Blue Trump: The story of the many colors of presidential candidate Donald Trump in the style of Dr. Seuss.

11. When you debate with people who have opposing political views, be calm and civil about it.

After all, yelling at your neighbor because they support Hillary Clinton isn't going to prevent her from becoming president.

12. Write a well thought out essay on your candidate of choice.

MLA format, 3 pages minimum, and don't forget to cite those sources.

13. Dress up as your candidate of choice for Halloween.

Work on your impressions and maybe you could get the King Size candy bars.

14. Research your candidate.

Make sure you know all about your candidate of choice's ideas so that when the time does come you can properly and civilly defend them. You can never learn too much.

15. Make a painting of your candidate of choice.

Do some abstract painting or pop art, get creative with it! As long as your main colors are red, white and blue.

16. VOTE FOR YOUR CANDIDATE OF CHOICE.

This is the single most important way to express your political opinion and it is really the only way to get your candidate of choice elected. So go and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!

Reminder:

When expressing your political views to others, do not use violence or bullying to get your point across. Other's opinions will be different than yours and sometimes you have to accept that; intolerance and hate is never the answer. Most importantly, do not let opposing political views get in the way of friendships or family ties, it's just not worth that. The best way to express political views is to know your candidate, defend them intelligently and VOTE!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
