1. The lust for cool workout clothes.

Nike, Adidas, Lulu Lemon and Under Armour have all my money. Also, Khloe K's fitness closet is goals.

2. Feeling secretly guilty about loving the high you get from taking pre-workout supplements.

It feels so good but the Internet says it's so bad.

3. Dreading the time when your tolerance for it has gone so high that you have to phase off for a while.

T minus three days until I can take pre-workout again.

4. Feeling possessive of your favorite machines.

How many sets are you going to do, man? Give me my machine back.

5. Giving anyone who takes your spot on the mats evil side-eye.

Go find your own spot.

6. Working out as a solution to everything.

Stressed? Go to the gym. Sleepy? Go to the gym. Bored? Go to the gym.

7. That feeling of utter despair when you realize the gym is closed AFTER you've already taken your pre-workout.

What do I do?! WHY CAN'T GYMS BE OPEN 24 HOURS?!

8. Gawking at the fitness gods that go to your gym.

How are you lifting that much? How are your muscles so defined? TEACH ME.

9. When you have to go for more than a few days without access to a gym...

Like a smoker deprived of nicotine, depriving you of exercise makes you sluggish, irritable and prone to unwise decisions.

10. Being grumpy for your whole workout because that one machine is broken.

Ugh, now I'll have to plan a whole new work out!

11. The euphoria-like zen that you get into when in the middle of your workout.

All your worries melt away and it's you, your heartbeat and your muscles.

12. Feeling so much more confident after workouts!

Yassss bi*tches, I'm on top of the world!

13. Waking up the day after a particularly grueling workout and not being able to move without wincing.

I'll just lie in bed until it doesn't hurt to move.

14. The struggle of going up and down stairs after leg day.

Also choosing to bend over 90 degrees to pick something up instead of squatting.

15. The struggle of laughing or sneezingafter abs day.

"Hahahahahaha OW!"

16. Looking in the mirror one day to realize that you've made progress.

Whoa... I have muscles.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
