1. Chicago Hot Dogs

There's nothing like a delicious Chicago-style hot dog on a summer day... or really any time of the year.


2. The Sears (Willis) Tower

(Always refer to it as "Sears")

As Chicago's tallest building, the Sears Tower is a stunning achievement for our city, and now boasts the Skydeck where one can step out over 1,300 ft. in the air and look over the city.

3. The Chicago Skyline

Although the Sears Tower is a standout, the city is abundant with stunning buildings and architecture.

4. Lollapalooza

Great music, great vibes in a great city.

5. Michigan Avenue Shopping

Any store, any brand, at your fingertips.

6. Deep-dish Pizza

If there's one thing you absolutely need to eat in Chicago, it's deep dish pizza. Go to Lou Malnati's for the best in the whole city.

7. Stanley Cup Champs, the Chicago Blackhawks

There's nothing like hearing that Chelsea Dagger theme songs and cheering on Chicago's best team.

8. Cloudgate aka "The Bean"

A selfie of your reflection is a must.

9. A city on Lake Michigan

Go downtown to the Skydeck and then the beach is just minutes away. There's so much to do in Chi-town.


10. Cubs vs. Sox rivalry

I got my Southside pride for the White Sox, and eagerly await baseball to cheer on my favorite team, and laugh as the Cubs continue their 100 year+ streak of not going to the world series.

11. The Chicago River

Nothing is better than when St. Patties Day rolls around and the river rushes by, flowing green.

12. The Best Burger in the Country

Topping out Food Network's Best Burgers in the Country is Chicago's own, Au Cheval.

13. Kanye West

"If you don't know by now, I'm talkin' 'bout Chi-town."
