So, you're a broke college student dreaming of traveling the world when you finally pay off your student loan debt... right? Well, let me feed into your wanderlust with these killer destinations that should be on your "before-I-die" bucket list.

1. Major's Spot Cay, Bahamas

Alright, so I went on a sailboat cruise with some kick-ass people in the summer of 2015 around the Bahamas, and it was probably the best and most incredible experience I've ever had. During our sailing tour, we stopped at the Hog Island which is located at Major's Spot Cay, Bahamas. Of course, the water in the Bahamas is crystal clear, but if you're an animal lover, it's fun to go feed and swim with the "domesticated" pigs.

2. Honolulu, Hawaii

When I was still in high school, my band traveled to the Pearl Harbor Memorial in Hawaii to perform at the Memorial Day event. We had some extra travel time and spent lots of time hanging out around the shopping district (which is AWESOME if you're a shopaholic like me) and the water and scenery is just beautiful. Fair warning, the water is REALLY rough around certain points of the year.

3. Las Pozas, Mexico

If you like abandon-esque places like me, this place is a gem. Las Pozas, Mexico is actually the work of the Englishman, Edward James, who was a founder of the Surrealist art movement. This 80-acre plot of land is filled with surrealist sculptures that can reach up to four stories tall.

4. Aurora Borealis in Alaska

One of my dreams has always been to see the Northern Lights from Alaska. Night time is the most beautiful to me, and I would die happy just to see them.

Yes, I know you can see them from other northernmost areas of the world, but I'm an American and don't need a passport to fly to Alaska... lol

5. Palace of Versailles, France

This. IS. Beautiful. Go France.

6. Pink Lake in Australia

Apparently, the pink color comes from the algae that grows in the lake.

Enough said.

7. Grand Canyon, AZ, USA

Yes, it's cliché, but it's beautiful. Honestly, who wouldn't want to see this beauty?

8. Playa del Amore, Mexico

Also known as "Hidden Beach," the only way you can see it is from the air, and the only entrance is a tunnel from the ocean to the underground shore. Wouldn't that be awesome?

9. Lock Bridge in France

10. Red Beach, Panjin, China

Red's my favorite color. I think it's now my new favorite beach.

11. Antelope Canyon, AZ

This site is located in the LeChee chapter of the Navajo Nation in Arizona. The Antelope Canyon site is two separate canyons, an upper and a lower, and flash flooding created these beatufiul canyons.

12. Swing at the "End of the World," Ecuador

If you're afraid of heights, I don't recommend... but you adrenaline junkies out there may appreciate! Isn't this a beautiful site?

Let's make some travel plans.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
