1. It's easier to wake up to your alarm, because your body just knows.
2. You can hear the faint sound of the band playing at the early hours of the morning, no matter where your location on campus.
3. There is an abundance of "OH-"s as you walk through campus. I don't mean the occasional spirited student, I mean every. single. person. you. pass.
4. You see students and alumni on top of roofs, blasting hype music, and drinking.
5. You pass thousands of girls wearing knee high socks, converse, high waist jean shorts, and cut off Ohio State t-shirts. Don't forget the cheek tattoo. (Yes, I am guilty of being one of these girls.)
6. The entire campus has a general happy vibe, because everyone knows what's about to happen.
7. You pass occasional people wearing the opposing team's colors (even Michigan fans dare to show their face on campus when the game is home). You'll probably hear some pretty dirty language, but it's okay to join in. They knew what they were getting into.
8. You've never seen so many empty cans of Natural Light on the ground in your life.
9. There are horse cops everywhere. They're kind of terrifying at first (they remind me of the Central Park scene in "Elf"), but if you talk to them they're actually awesome.
10. As game time approaches, you see more and more drunk dads, chanting, and obnoxious students running through campus.
11. As you get closer to the stadium, all you can hear is the beautiful noise of the thousands of fellow Buckeyes cheering on our team.
Go Bucks!
P.S. Those obnoxious fans I mentioned? Be one of them.
Just don't get arrested.
