For those of you who are as obsessed with "One Tree Hill" as I am, and as many other people throughout this planet are, there is always one thing that you are constantly thinking throughout the show: Nathan and Haley are perfect. They aren't the example of a picture perfect family, but they are an example of a real relationship with real hardships and lessons that you learn throughout time. Without further adieu, here are 11 reasons why Nathan and Haley Scott are Goals.

1. They acted on their feelings, no matter what everyone else thought or said.

Sure, getting married as juniors in high school isn't an ideal situation, but when you know, you know. The scene with Nathan and Haley in the rain is one of the most romantic scenes to date.

2. They stayed with each other through some serious ups and downs.

After Haley left for her rock tour, Nathan hit rock bottom. When Haley came back, they worked through it. The same thing goes for when Nathan suffered from his accident and ended up in a wheelchair. They made it work. Plus, the scene where Nathan and Jamie have dinner ready for Haley really tugged on my heart strings.

3. When things went downhill, they didn't pretend that it was easy to fix it.

When Haley left for her rock tour, Nathan was pissed and it wasn't something that was fixed in the next episode. He moved back in with his parents and made Haley prove that she was going to stay with him. It takes a lot to trust someone after they completely rip your hair out, but Nathan forgave Haley and I think that I speak for everyone when I say, "Thank God." The show wouldn't be the same without Naley.

4. They constantly push each other toward their goals.

Minus Nathan hating that Haley went on tour the first time, every other time when Haley set her eyes on music or teaching, Nathan was right there. He gave up his dream to go to high flyers for Haley to experiment with her dreams. Haley was always willing to be by Nathan through his point shaving, his accident, and moving his way all the way up to the pros.

5. Nathan treats Haley like a princess.

There are so many instances in which he does this, but one specific one comes to mind: when Nathan steals Haley's ring to propose to her again so that they could have a real wedding with all of their friends and family. It was the sweetest thing when he presented her with a new ring at the wedding. The tears fell down like waterfalls.

6. They are perfect parents.

James Lucas Scott is a very intuitive little man and he went through his fair share of rough times for such a tiny human. From almost drowning to being kidnapped by Nanny Carrie, Nathan and Haley did everything that they could to make sure that this freakishly cute little human was the happiest kid on the planet. They put him first with everything that they did and they are the parents that every couple should aspire to be.

7. They are the best friends who you could ever ask for.

Any time when there is a problem with anyone, Nathan and Haley were there to pick up the pieces. Yes, they have a lot of their own problems, but they are always willing to help out. There's a reason why they are always picked as the maid of honor or best man. They are the couple who you know that you can depend on and they never fall short of what you expect.

8. They are total rock stars (literally).

Haley follows her dreams when she feels that it's appropriate. She was a full-time mom to Jamie until it became time to teach and, ultimately, she got back into the recording studio and touring again. Nathan is in the NBA. After seasons and seasons of waiting for Nathan to make it big, he finally did it. They're an amazing power couple.

9. They do what they have to do in order to achieve their dreams.

Nathan sacrifices time away from his family because he had to play for the Chiefs. He sacrifices showing off on his team to be a team player and, ultimately, he gets called up because of how great of a player he is. Haley records and tours when she can and even takes Jamie with her that so she isn't away from him. Family always comes first with these two.

10. They always know the right advice to give.

Jamie Scott asks questions upon questions in the first season that he appears in and Nathan and Haley make it a point to never lie to him and to always tell him the truth. They do this not only with their child, but with their friends as well. Lucas denies his feelings for Peyton for a long time and you could count on Nathan and Haley giving him the advice that you know that he needed to hear.

11. They taught us that sometimes life throws you curves, but you get through it.

From their underaged wedding to the unexpected appearance of little Jamie Scott, they prove that if you love someone or something enough, it will all work itself out in time.
