As many of you may know, Tom Brady had his suspension upheld and is still suspended for the first four games of the season. Now, as much as I want to head straight to the NFL headquarters and request a battle royale with all of the NFL's front office, especially the commissioner whose name is not worth saying, I can't do that. I could go on and on about how angry and upset I am about not only the absurd suspension, but also the diabolical witch hunt that the NFL has carried out against Tom Brady, but I won't. All any of us common folk can do is sit and wait while Tom Brady and Mr. Kraft devise the most earth-shattering defense for when this case goes to court. Until that time, I want you all to listen to these 10 songs, in no particular order, that will help cope with the pain and get us through Deflategate. A few songs can be remixed to the current situation at hand with a few New England Patriots-related themes.

1. "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)" by Jason Mraz

I won't worry my life away.

2. "Breathe (2 AM)" by Anna Nalick

Oh breathe, just breathe.

3. "Bad Day" by Daniel Powter

"Sing a sad song just to turn it around"

4. "Everybody Hurts" by Avril Lavigne

"It's okay to be afraid." Take your pick, really; all the lines from this song help.

5. "I Won't Give Up" by Jason Mraz

"I won't give up on us, even if the skies get rough." (Insert "Tom" for "us.")

6. "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus

"There's always gonna be another mountain."

7. "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler

"And I need you more than ever." (Insert "Tom" for "you.") I also recommend the cover version by The Dan Band as seen in the film "Old School."

8. "Stay" by Rihanna Ft. Mikky Ekko

This one makes the list strictly for the remix "I want you to playyyyy."

9. "The Only Exception" by Paramore

There are a couple remixes to go with this song. "When I was younger I saw, my daddy cry and curse at the wind" Insert "Giants" for "wind" (We lost to them in the Super Bowl twice). The more obvious remix here would be "You are the only exception." Insert "Tom" for "You" and to be grammatically correct insert "is" for "are."

10. "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley

This song speaks for itself. Don't worry Pats Nation, every little thing is gonna be alright.

I hope that these songs can give you a bit of peace as we, New England, wage war with the NFL. If there is a chance that these songs don't help your spirits, just remember, we still beat the Seahawks and won the Super Bowl with NFL-approved footballs. If I have said it once, I have said it a million times, kiss the goddamn rings. #FreeBrady

P.S. - Just in case you all forgot who we are talking about, here you go.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
