10 Signs You're From Minnesota Going To College In Wisconsin

Do you go to school in Wisconsin? Yes?

Are you from Minnesota? Yes?

Then this article is just right for you.

1. Duck Duck Grey Duck Debacle

I think that Duck Duck Grey Duck makes Minnesotans so much more unique, we obviously still stand out. Duck Duck Goose doesn't even make sense anyway.. Am I right?

2. Water fountain or bubbler?

Never ever will I call a drinking fountain a bubbler.

3. What's A Village?

I have heard of small communities, but never did I expect to be introduced to a village in anywhere other than something on TV.

4. Cheese Obsession

It is never surprising that the people you meet in Wisconsin always and I mean always keep cheese stocked in the fridge, and can probably name all of the different types of cheese.

5. Packers or Vikings

The arguing between friends on game day is never a joke, the rivalry is very real.

6. The Dells

If you haven't been here at least once you will never hear the end of it.. its like the MOA of Wisconsin.

7. Casserole or Hot-dish?

When you ask for a scoop of Hot Dish in our dining hall and the student looks at you like you have grown two heads.

8. Soda or Pop?

It is crazy how large the difference across the boarder is for a simple carbonated drink.

9. Reciprocity

I have never been so grateful for the partnership between Minnesota and Wisconsin and the tuition rates it gives me.

10. Haven't Been To MOA?!

When I meet people who have not been to our sacred mall I feel like it is my responsibility to make sure they get to experience it at least once.

There are a lot of things that vary when you go to school in a different state, but I wouldn't have wanted to go to school anywhere else. Thank you for the warm welcome Wisconsin!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
