This probably means he has swiped left or right on you, or is going to, which is even more uncomfortable. What does one do in this situation?
- Public Transportation: On college campuses taking the bus is a common way to get from place to place. A bus is such a confined place, so the awkward eye contact is inevitable.
- The gym: People go to the gym to get fit so they can impress whoever they are interested in with their irresistible body. You go to the gym and ten minutes into running on the treadmill you are out of breath and drowning in sweat. You see your ex, who most likely does not look their best, but they are still glistening with sweat in an attractive manner. You do not want to say hello because you remember how red your face is and how unpleasant you smell.
- Sorority House: This one is for the girls. Seeing your ex at your own sorority house can just throw you completely off guard. It is extremely unexpected to see one of your sisters being all buddy-buddy with your ex. Not only is that a violation of girl code, but it is extra uncomfortable.
